- Hi guys! I have a super small linen closet and when I have a small one I can't even emphasize how small it is lol When we moved into this house about 5 months ago we definitely had to reduce our stuff to fit in here. My linen closet wasn't on my argent list but it get to the point I needed to declutter and organize it again!

I love your clarity on 'minimalism and organization' part. Many times we tend to collect much more in the name of organization and then realize it later. I love the way you keep a perfect balance in between these two :)

How appropriate that I watched this today, Squirrel Appreciation Day, 4 years later! If squirrels are young they are not as crazy as when they are immature. My daughter was young in the front yard one day and a baby squirrel hopped in her lap and visited for awhile. Anyway, I love your videos old or new!

Beautiful linen closet. I, too learned that neat did not necessarily mean well-organized and practical. Once I eliminated the non-essential clutter, items in the closet were easier to find (avoided buying duplicates), and I found that with less, the closet stayed neater (a savings of time). Great video.

Karen Fisher yes, I am with you!! I spent a lot of time and money buying baskets and the “perfect” organization things but it actually made it harder to find things or I had to completely reorganize to get items I needed. I’m really working on getting rid of what I don’t use and just keeping what I do. I’ve also found that buying in bulk is not good for me-I cannot stand the cabinets and closets full so it’s better to just have what I’m currently using and buy as I need.
Yes! Very glad she mentioned it. I’ll be more mindful when organizing my cupboards now.

The world’s smallest linen closet, except in RV’s. It’s so funny how much we cling to our possessions but when I see other people’s stuff it seems easy to get rid of it.
Oh m’gosh. When you found the shirt in the linen closet I had to chuckle. Nearly every time I clean out a space, I find items that definitely don’t belong there!! 🤪
Okay I’m sorry I love all your videos but what I’ve really always wanted to know is what type of greenery do you usually have in all your vases and where do you usually get it. I love the look of real flowers but the can be expensive and I really am a fan of green anyway so this would be perfect!!

I just cut what ever I find in our backyard!😊 I totally hear you on the cost of the flowers! I love them but I always think that I could buy a bag of potatoes on that money lol I think general any kind of green thing look great in the vase. brings life to a room. Even if you cut an overgrown bush branch 😃

Enjoyed the video but the squirrel stole the show ,lol. Seeing this reminds me of Chevy Chase in Christmas Vacation were the squirrel is in the tree.Every Christmas I put a stuffed toy squirrel in the tree in honor of this movie.. never gets old😂

Would you do a video on what made you guys decide on homeschooling, how did it start, what are the benefits and where do you get your inspiration for the subjects and projects? My boys aren't homeschooled but I would love to implement your tips into our afternoon study time as well as our weekend quality time. I put a documentary on for them the the other day and they loved it and I would love to expose them to more things like that.
They both saw your videos on the playroom and the toys, so now the keva planes are on their wishlist. I arranged their Lego the way you did and they play with it every day now. You were right, those drawers make it easier for them to find the pieces. My son was inspired by the city your son built😊
Also would you do a video on your other areas of the house like laundry, garage, shed? I'm not sure if they are ready since you just moved but I'm curious about your storage ideas.

Barb I love having you here! 😊💜 I will gather my thoughts on this subject since it's huge lol We always did a lot's of crafts and project at home so we just corporate the learning part into the day time too which is much faster that way because it's a one to one so no wondering around lol There's a book that I would recommend for you amzn.to/2RGW5YY We learned so much about each other and our self. I learned how my kids (they are so different from each other ) are learn faster in their own unique way. I'm so happy you find things that inspired you and your boys!
I will have a tour eventually on the garage too probably with the process but now it's covered with my husband's tools (his a contractor) so we will build a shop for him but before that so much work needs to be done. I don't even know where to begin lol We are going to change the garage door and making driveway.. 😃

How do you just look at something and decide to get rid of it, no hesitation? I fight with myself all the time, afraid I might need it!
How do you make the decision? Do u ever regret getting rid of anything?
It took a lot's of learning about myself and I'm getting aware of my actual action if that makes sense that way I see if I like the idea of having it or I actually will make some project with it. It was so hard at the beginning because so many decision to make but soon as I started to have less things the vision to make a decision was more clear . That declutter in this video wasn't hard because it was just a few item. I think of it I did decluttering process in layers and I've got rid of always that was the easiest. Eventually you can get there and I took my time when I felt burned out I stopped and get back to it when I was inspired. I read lots of books that helped me stay in the spirit! Hope that helps:) Decluttering is very overwhelming at the beginning but gets easier! xx😊

I absolutely love how ruthless you are when decluttering! What do you do with old and broken appliances? My husband loves keeping everything for 'spares' and it drives me crazy!
💜😊If it's broken you can recycle them there's big box usually at shopping store's parking lot green or blue color it a sign usually says you can recycle them there 🤗
