The first 7 minutes is a VERY accurate depiction of "anxiety", for those of you out there that don't know what it feels like. Jeremy, our king, you got this broheim!
something my friend once said that has always stuck with me regarding video games is "Some people play video games to spend energy and challenge themselves. Some people play games to recharge energy and enjoy themselves." I honestly think both of these are valid ways to enjoy video games, and that pushing someone to enjoy it in a different way can just lead to conflict. While I trust Platy and Jeremy as (semi) functioning adults, I hope Platy doesn't push Jeremy too hard to try and force him to enjoy playing Dark Souls and that they take mental health breaks!
Absolutely accurate comment. There are legitimately millions of ways to play or enjoy a game. It is up to the person playing how they play and how they enjoy themselves. The second someone else tries to force someone how to play or what to play or how to "have fun" while playing, it is no longer the person at the control's enjoyment or play style. If you want to play a game a certain way or you get fun out of a game this way or that way. Great more power too you, I'm glad you found what works for you. But please don't try to force your way onto me. Doing that will only lead to an argument. Also god forbid you get mad at me for the way I play the game because you think the way you play it is better. Please never be that person. Never tell someone how they should be playing a game because it is better or they will get better enjoyment if they do it your way. That is how your ruin friendships.
Accurate. I never got the whole pvp competition, versus versus versus, gotta be the best, gotta get number 1.... I was for awhile with Halo and always played teams. It took too much energy otherwise. Our lives are stressful enough. Games are to relieve stress, not cause them.
I get asked all the time as a trophy hunter, "Why don't you play Dark Souls or Dark Soul esk games? They have good platinums!" I enjoy playing games, I enjoy having a goal when I play games. I don't enjoy hating playing a game and if I know I'm not going to enjoy the game I just will refuse to play it or touch it. I've played Dark Souls once for charity and I literally had to change games. It was entertaining the first 50 deaths and absolutely soul crushing the next 50. I stopped having fun even for charity. I will absolutely sit through a 12 hours game of monopoly but I won't force myself to play another souls game ever.
I get what they mean, the open world nature of it completely chnages how you go at the game. For some that's enough to avoid the die to the same boss 50x times Not for me but I het their point. The abitly to leave a boss and still progress the game drastically chnages the game for them

6:26 sounds exactly like platy. Word from word. 😂
Subathon hell yeah! It’ll be the first time I catch the livestream
Kinda wish Jeremy would just acknowledge the comments and then leave it be and focus his attention on another topic to change the conversation
Oh!!! Those Kitten Fates envelopes are perfect. What a great idea!
Imagine he finds the 4 shinies he needs in like 2 minutes and the stream is over immediately 😂😂😂😂
Nvm those adorable kitty stickers need to sell out
Thank you Dr. Zoidberg.
