I would like to see things that would make these Tacos worth the price: - Updated engine options - Updated auto transmission to replace the sluggish outdated one (if you are going this route) - The ability to fit 35s without (or minimal) cutting or chopping - Rear coil suspension - Interior refresh Good video. Your truck looks great!
I’d like to see a higher bed payload. With almost anything in the bed the truck is already over loaded. It should be a true 1/2 ton payload, and that’s after the truck has all its fluids and 2 occupants.
Could we just get a bloody locking gas door like I had on my brand new 1992 Toyota 4x4. Also, the option of a TRD off road DCLB here in Canada. Other than that I love my 2020 TRD Sport DCLB 4x4
Just purchased a 23 taco whisked it had the rear locker but I’ll get by with the 4 wheel drive addition I’ve got it’s just another addition I wished they have added
I love chrome, maybe you have to be old enough to appreciate it IDK... LoL see what I did there¿ I grew up loving the 82, 83 sr5 and it had real chrome! Not this stuff that flakes off in four years, scratches before you get it home.. real chrome that last 25 years. I don't disrespect, you can have your black on black on black, just bring the real stuff back and maybe people will dig it again, like short hair cuts 😃
I’m still rocking my 2011 TRD. Not much has changed enough for me to upgrade. If the cabin was about 8 inches longer and 6 inches wider, I’d get a new one. Fitting 3 kids in the back it tight
@@rdstud7464 the overall size of a tundra body is huge compared to a Tacoma. I don’t need the engine power either. I can deal with a 4.5 foot bed with a tailgate extension. And 6 inches of interior cabin space isn’t the end of the world for them to design. A dollar bill width bigger to fit 3 car seats
Now its never gonna happen but I would totally love to see a v8 option in the new 2023 Tacomas v6 has decent power but would definitely love to see a for say performance package on the truck giving it for 4.7 v8 option
The biggest thing a Tacoma needs is better brakes. Like rear disc! going back to 2sc.Gen trans or a new one. Not another trim package. Our Santa Cruz has way more stopping power than any Tacoma ever made and has a smooth transmission too. Come on Toyota.
I wouldnt mind seeing ventilated seats as an option. Also maybe upgrade the cameras since the ones they use are from 2005 probably. Maybe fix the bipolar transmission.
The teens around here these days love the chrome and yes their parents buy them brand new vehicles lift them up and put in loud a$$ exhausts (yes, I'm salty about it 😂)... most of the time they're full size "american" trucks but anyways, they're chromed out. Maybe Toyota is trying to get the younger crowds interested?
When in God's name are they gonna change The style of the Tacoma it looks the same since 2016 don't get me wrong I love my 2016 but I just would like to see them update the Trucks look
When you said "The word exciting might be a little extreme" I went ahead and clicked on another video lol. Toyota never does anything exciting and I don't even care to hear what outdated shit they're coming out with next year.
I want a smaller truck like the first gen Tacos and Frontiers. Better gas mileage, like 45-60 miles the gallon. Long beds for single or extended cabs. Absolutely no chrome, it looks ugly as fk on new vehicles. And most of all keep it reliable. It's ridiculous that new tacos are bigger than older Tundras.
This channel is going to hell in a handbasket! Hatin' on Chrome, like it's a disease! Then, Hatin' on the "overpriced" redheaded stepchild. That cut deep. Where's the luv? Then, no less than 3 post production edit misses. Maybe it was the matrix bugging. If your trail videographer is also in charge of post production, Pass. You, we need to talk. Then, after I got my popcorn, ju-ju beads, chocolate covered raisins and libations, went to the bathroom, fed the dawgs, the wife, and was so ready for all these trim levels and womp womp womp......only 2? One you hate because, well, Chrome phobias are real, or, something that I suspect is a stock photo of a S/X from before. I barely got through the candy and popcorn........ So on a whole, my Siskel & Ebert rating: 2 thumbs up! Mainly cause' I didn't know negative body fat was a thing. My God Man! We need to hang out at a Horn & Horn once and a while! I'm signing you up for the potato a month club! Much
Comment below with a feature you'd like to see added to a new Tacoma trim package.
1. More POWER! 2. Front Locker
I picked up a 2022 Tacoma TRD Sport 2WD Double Cab in February. I am loving this truck so far.
Congrats on your purchase!
@@Tacomaholic Thanks i really love this truck
I want to see single cab long bed again, but with a V6. I would also like the TRD Pro model to include ARB Front and Rear Air Lockers.
Would love to see that return!

Need the manual trannys back on the sr and sr5!!!

2023 Tacomaholic jacked and trim
Working on it! Burned off 15lbs of fat and killing it with the weights.

Have anyone tried to add a winch to a 2009 taccoma by dropping a piece of steel behind the aluminum bumper? Please respond. Thank you.
supercharger or turbo
I don't know anyone who would pay extra for chrome.
🙋♂️
I own a 2019 Tundra 1794 edition, as most of you know its loaded with chrome… it’s everywhere and i love it!!… 👍
Dear God, a glove box light.
Full rear sliding window like the Tundra
Yes please!

Like shirt 🤪
Lol someone always says that when I go out in public wearing it. You can grab one here if you want: amzn.to/3sJrvlE
I’m keeping my ‘10 Off Road with 6 speed manual until the wheels fall off.
Throwing in all their warehouse stuff and trying to gain buyers before 2024 redesign. I,ll wait.
Optional AWD to 4WD and factory lockers. Don’t need remote starts, heated seats, shiny nothings, or big touch screen radios.
12-15 Tacomas were ground breaking imo sucks that this all the my came up with. That’s why 2nd gen is the best gen.
Truth!

Love to see them keep 3.5 v6 but put single turbo in it and plus have that 14 inches screen like new tundra got ….

I think ALL 4x4 Toyota Tacomas should have fog lights and a rear locker on them or just the V-6 models
I love the chrome,
Not really a difference from 2016-2022 model
I wouldnt mind seeing ventilated seats as an option. Also maybe upgrade the cameras since the ones they use are from 2005 probably. Maybe fix the bipolar transmission.
chrome is great however plastic that is colored to look like chrome is dumb.
I just want a lane correction system that actually corrects my steering instead of annoying beeping… PLEASE !!!
I'm looking forward to the 2026 models. Oh man new body design. Gen 2 had about 10 years till a new body design.
Are you the terminator?
No but I do have a neural net processor.

Chrome is the worst.

Uh. No. Thanks.
