you can buy most of the blocks and tools on Etsy from various makers as well as felts......or you can check out Leko

How hot is the water needed to mood the material
sorry....just saw this.....able to put your hand in but not able to keep it there
Do you use this same process of stretching and ironing on wool, 100% beaver or blends? or does it vary by material you are blocking?
It is the same on any natural felt....can't use these hot irons on synthetic fibers.

We have our own warehouse of hat bodies that work from unless a customer wants a special order. We have purchased from various sources over the years.
