1/ I legit thought it was the police that cleaned up the scene, not the tow truck company. 2/ Do you have a time limit for the scene to be cleaned?

No the cleanup of debris from car crashes typically falls to the towing and recovery company sometimes the fire department will help if oil on the ground they will throw some cat litter on the oil to help soak it up and sometimes they’ll help sweep up debris from the middle of the road

I drive a wrecker and we are responsible for the cleanup, but sometimes the police or fire department will help.
