i love how the show is called "world's strictest parents" but these are the most normal african parents ever lol
the parents aren't even strict, they are gentle with their parenting approach.. sooo wholesome.. God knows our mothers hit us when we were out of order lol..
I know right? My American parents were this strict. I was expecting them to get their butts whooped 😅
They children are raised so anyone would enjoy there company, not cause there parents embarrassments, literally the family can travel anywhere and be welcomed as the family is so very pleasant,
When Billie heard the compliment "she's a good girl" her face lit up!
When the Dad said: "I'm sorry for Britain."
I felt it!!😂🔥
Lmao I swear he has funny one liners it's way to funny then it should be
The grandmother is the type of role model all young people need.
Billies interactions with the grandma goes to show what she was missing was someone to push her out of her comfort zone and show her that she doesn’t need to be afraid, and she had to be shown she was loved.
Agreed! And even the Mom realizing how her culture they’re not supposed to show compassion when putting down their foot, maybe isn’t the best way of handling every situation as she approached the next situation differently and more empathetic, I genuinely believe this episode was good for everyone in it.
The thing about every episode I watched, is the issues start back home with their original parents.
Scott: “I’m really smart like the smartest in my classes”
*goes to class in Kenya and gets first question teacher asks him wrong* 😂
@@samdasilva1914 what makes it worse is that his mother willingly paid for his education when she didn’t have to. Definitely didn’t pay off.
This is kenya 😂😂 education here is really hard ...and parents here cane us when we are wrong...even when you're old enough
Being Kenyan is actually fun...
Except when you annoy your parents.
That's where things go downhill 🤣
When he said “I don’t care,” after his mom said “I love you” infuriates me. That is so disgusting and vile. How can anyone treat their own mom like that? It’s disgusting!

Greg Shearer I personally don’t know if he’s real but you should have should show respect to people beliefs
Huge respect to you, Kenyan 🇰🇪 people!!!
We really are known to be very friendly to visitors but worst with ourselves,,,,but i won't change my nationality for anything!!!
This is exactly how all of us here in Kenya were brought up. No way you can answer back your parents, teachers or anyone older than you. It's all about respect.
That's how it was in the 70's...let's hope that Kenya doesn't change.

It's the same in Ghana and Nigeria. It's just Africa. We have values and societal standards that most European countries don't have. We do chores no matter what and if you start drinking and smoking your parents cannot know else if they get to know, you'll regret learning all those stuff
These Kenyan parents ,especially the dad ,tried to hold their cool.we have to give the dad credit,he really tried to hold himself.A normal African dad would have slapped the life out of those foolish teens
I love how the teens clearly thought they were bragging about all the “cool” things they’ve done and the Kenyan teens were just 👁👄👁
Always seems to happen in these shows when the kids go to school. They think they are cool but they're the ones who were sent away because of their behavior. 😅
I moved to Kenya in 2018. I’ve lived in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia and 3 other Southern African nations. BY FAR the best place to live was Nairobi. Problems and all, Kenyans are warm, hospitable and polite. Beautiful country, too.
I'm guessing you are of african origin, and I'm glad that you are happy where you are however, what you say, as romantic as it sounds, is far from reality.
That city is like the those in the west. I was very confused my 1st time there
@@oreoakalaperoji8314 - right? Nairobi is literally like Los Angeles - I live here, so I know.
Big kudos to our Kenyan family for implementing the most effective strategies. The touching moment when the girl visited the grandmother truly stirred my emotions. It's a memory I believe will profoundly impact her life. Hats off to the documentary creators; outstanding work!
All over Kenya, grandmother is always your parent. Beside being your parent parent's.

The girls were not impressed girl 😂😂😂😂🥴.
Maybe in England , they would be impressed
Just goes to show that the type of “friends” your kids surround themselves with are actually really important
Honestly these parents seem extremely welcoming and compassionate. It's sad that the teens looked down on their host's home and living conditions. Not everyone has access to clean water or electricity or fresh food. The fact those things are so rare and yet they're choosing to share what they have with you speaks volumes of their character.
If the then is spoiled and behaves bad towards everyone then of course they don't respect anything snd that's why parents should teach kids how to respect everyone otherwise in their future they won't respect anyonr
Bear in mind that untill then they had taken everything for granted. And before leaving Britain Scott thought his academic ability was in the top few percent- and it might have been- IF he'd bothered to turn up
The food in Kenya is fresher and healthier than anything you'll find in America
I can’t get your trousers, you are younger then me, get your trousers. That African mom was shocked. 😂
Im Slovenian watching this and i understand Kenyan English much better than the one from Brittish teens! 🤣🤣
i don't understand how you could disrespect someone else's family and culture like that like what
Same. I’d be more uncomfortable saying how I really feel and being rude than just sucking it up and being kind.
Right! Especially in their own countries .. I’ll never understand. My parents never raised me like that
Wondering what kind of reckoning they will have after NOT COMPLYING with customs half-way across The World. JUST 8 DAYS OF THEE BEST IN ANYONE'S WORLD. .
The cameras are the reason those parents kept cool. Next time you do this leave them alone with the parents with no one watching for two weeks then come back for the results. Am Kenyan, i know what I am saying
I was genuinely waiting for at least one knockout on those first days 😂
35:07 the way the dad walks into the room at 7 am saying “Lazy people” 😂

Scott and Billy are genuinely good souls. Scott's innocence can be seen once he was treated like responsible person. It's just that they were never disciplined. It is parents' responsibility to expose them to tough situations too to help them grow up. You are made of your experiences.
True, mother love can spoil kids. Kenyan's family taught you get praise and positive support to mature. Loved how the grandmother used affectional touch through her emotional struggle and rebelling. She touch her wound and gave her the spirit to to do good.
@@zamahaz1302OH MY GOODNESS she was SO SWEET!❤ I don't have to know this family to love them as great people, which I absolutely do 😊
This is very watered-down African parenting. African parents don't spend time explaining why you're being punished, they hit you wherever the hand or flip-flop lands 😂😂😂
That’s what’s wrong with them now always resorting to hitting instead of trying to actually talk to your kids and tell them what they did wrong just passing done generational trauma.
Wow. 90% of their income towards education. Talk about love for your kids. Respect.
This family wasn’t even strict at all just genuine people. Lived in Kenya for 2 years great people!
These kids will always remember this experience for many years to come. Bless this family and the community that welcomed them ❤ The father summed it up well "Don't let us down"😭
When she said 'Fine. I'll wear the trousers. Get me the trousers.'
And the lady said, 'I can't get them for you my dear. You are younger than me.'
🤣🤣🤣
I admire the Kenyan father's stern words. "Scotty young man, listen to me very carefully, this is for your benefit and not my own benefit.." and maintains eye-contacy all throughout. Scott with his daddy issues will have to see to that! Kenyan father don't play, when it comes to the order of their house. Respect the head!
He reminds me of my own (very stern) Kenyan pops whom I love to the skies and back!!
Why is he the head and not his wife or better yet, equal partners.
The kenyan students are not impressed with the 2 talking about their antics and actually being proud of themselves.
They were practically bragging. Thinking they're cool when actually they looked like idiots
I loved it when they were trying so hard to impress everyone and themselves and the Kenyan students just looked at them with disgust.
Scotts and B's transformation made me cry. Always know you can be the best version of yourself. This requires discipline, hardwork and respect.
the soundtrack for this episode?????? its literally so good whoever was in charge of music put so many hidden bangers
And you know what’s mad, these smart Kenyan kids, will go to U.K. and be told their education isn’t up to U.K. standard......while mans here can’t answer simple primary school questions...but private school tho... it’s repugnant.
It was so sad and pathetic to see them stand up in front of that class and smile and pretend to brag about all the bad stuff they have done, you could see the distaste in the kids eyes.
They were fascinated too. I think it was fun for them. They understood it was strange.
When you have nothing to share that's what you do - you tell the truth about you. Kids know that
I teared up when billy started working with grandma it’s so touching to see grandma show billy love and support even through her naughty outbursts
These Kenyan parents, grandparent, teacher, and principal in the video are all amazing ❤ i wish i had support like that growing up.
"What kind of boy is this? Hes useless!" 💀💀💀
Tbh though I'd be embarrassed if that were my son 😂
The boy has been badly brought up, asking for anything and getting it in the name of 'love'
Also, loving the grandmom. She radiates love and wisdom.
Kenyan grandmoms usually spoil and show so much love to their grandchildren. Excessively.
Grandmas are the best .They handle everything with wisdom and love . Love wins !
Just wondering when this was filmed? Grandma was born in 1920? If she's still alive, she's 103 or there about depending on when her birthday is. Mad respect for that Lady.
This video should be in all Universities and Schools across Europe and US. Children are lost ! The wealth of this family is amazing 🙏🏻✨✨ so much respect
this is exactly what modern kids need - get offline, do something physical and they need adults that are no nonsense when necessary.
the fact when billies mom said turn it down her mates say turn it up and laugh in the moms face infuriates ms
I wonder the freedom and audacity these kids have. Here even if you are 60 years old, when your parent gives you "the look" you comply and run.
I saw spoiled friends disrespect their parents but id never ever do something like that to someones parents who welcomed me in their home. Some kids dont know how blessed they are to have parents that care.
Yeah but mum just closed the door...we women must demand respect before getting it...

"Embarrassing me, Embarrassing our family"
You just cant do wrong when you hear their voices in your head
I love Scott’s disgust at the rubbish 😂 My first summer job was cleaning the slurry pits at the local sewage works. It was awful, for an hour or so, then we got on with it and I was able to pay towards my tuition.
All young people should travel. It opens eyes and hearts. It improved understanding of how privileged they are, and respect for themselves and others.

There’s a lot of kids here in the US that need to be sent to Kenya school and temporary strict parents with this type of discipline…and especially be sent to grandmas house for sure. ❤❤❤❤ well done! Great video. This needs to be put on Facebook every single day for unruly teenagers to see, and for parents who are their wits end to know there’s a safe place to take your child to teach them discipline and respect.
The goal of Facebook is to make everyone behave like the English teens were behaving when they first arrived. Social ENGINEERING.
Its wild to see these almost adults, learning empathy, especially how much it reminds me of my 4 year old learning the same things.
“I think I’m really really smart”... top 1% of the world!...I’m in tears 😭

Honestly this even opened my eyes to myself, seeing how appreciative and hardworking they are in Kenya is inspiring and makes me want to be more driven. As an American, everything really is easy and taken for granted... education, food, shelter, work... etc.
That why we should be grateful with our live. My teacher said " if you want succes look at the people above you. If you unsatisfied or ungratefull with your current life look at the people below you"
You are privileged and soon as you learn that and take advantage of it you will get somewhere in life

I agree. In America, it’s easy for us to look on the small inconveniences we have, and curse it all. But it could be so much worse for so ,any of us. We should all be grateful for that.
The Dad was like"lazy people"😂"he's useless " he is just real 💯
this is beautiful. to see them having the change of heart and to see that transformation. beautiful. theses people in Kenya are so wise and kind. sending love!
Why do British parents fail at parenting so badly we have to fly them halfway across the world to get basic discipline ☹️
Well I am British and I had pure discipline, I help with bills and I cook dinner most nights if I am not in work... not all British parents are bad but most parents just give in, it’s terrible over here, you have to be so careful as it’s dangerous, the children who are not disciplined are dangerous
Greatest love parents can show their kids is to discipline them even when it breaks your heart to do so.
“What kind of boy is this? He’s useless!”
The shock on that mans face just killed me...he was well and truly baffled
“Im ur mom. I love you..🥺❤️” “i dont Care🙄” that broke my heart..

Ground-breaking stuff when you consider 2/3 of marriages fail within the first few years...
@@baky5372 false .... in the western world it’s 50% . Other countries it’s not
Not all some of the kids parents are still married but not as many. It's the norm anymore sadly marriages dont always last and the kids are stuck in the middle or one parent usually the father bails forever. However they do have plenty of married parents on here and they're kids are bad as hell. In the end it's how you parent. Also it seems certain countrys get married and stay married forever. That's something that's diff about other country's.

This two teens are unbelievable. I hope Kenyans never let their children become like these two teens!!!

The way the dad saunters into the room where Scott is sleeping and utters "lazy people" at 35:07 has me rolling 😂
They seriously got off easy. No slaps from the parents, no grass slashing or pit digging at school. Kids like these need an authority figure and boundary markers.
Scott is presenting himself like he’s so proud of his actions. I see the other students looking down their nose at these 2 losers
Billie is so nice she just needed motivation and appreciation after. Something the mom and grandma did so well.
"It's a real slum, I don't know why anyone would want to live here." Um.... they usually don't WANT to.
They do the best with what they have and usually are pretty grateful unlike people in the western world who are never grateful and always wanting more which makes them miserable
This was beautiful! The Kenyan people are amazing. We have much to learn from them.
Mr sidik saying to Scott "You and I are going to be rubbish men" got me rolling 😂😂. You could see how displeased scott looked. But I'm glad he finally learned his lesson.
