You know, ive seen the ORIGINAL Mannequin probably 50 times, but ive NEVER seen part 2. i guess its sorta like Fright Night. part 1 is SO easy to find, but Part 2 is very hard to find. even online for the most part. even though its not at all "Bad"
I wish Apple had the mannequin soundtrack to be able to purchase!!! I can’t even get this song under Belinda on Apple because it’s not available to purchase! So sad because this is such a great song with awesome lyrics!!!
Love this little known song by Belinda! In fact I would never know it existed if I hadn't watched the movie Mannequin two days ago (it's in the opening titles)
Kyrkos CCFC I first also heard this in Mannequin. Have you seen Mannequin 2:On The Move?. They are both really good films. Is this song taken from the soundtrack album and was this song written for the film or was it written before the film?.
Watched the movie again recently. I can't not see Raymond Reddington (James Spader) from The Blacklist when watching it now. And Id almost forgotten how awesome Hollywoooood was 🤣😎👍
I can't tell you how many girls ive shocked and won over by telling them i loved Mannequin, especially seeing it growing up, as a boy lol. i guess they figure a guy wouldn't like a Comedy-Romance, but i did... i DO. lol... shit, i named my Cat of 18 years "Rambo" Because of that movie. well, also due to Rambo himself, but more as a Mannequin Joke. and he lived a HELL of a long life for a cat... i still miss that Cat every single day. i had him from like, 17 till 35 or around there of...
It was sent to me by a fanatic Belinda fan. I subsequently sent it to her current record label who then issued it as part of a box set as it was thought of as lost
It seems that the original master was destroyed in a fire several years ago. It was a huge blaze which destroyed thousands of original master recordings. Though I would assume that it could be cleaned up a bit and stuck on streaming. Slightly poor is better than nothing at all.
@@davidC1984 It got caught in the Universal fire? It is odd because I have a lot of music from the 80's that were remastered in the 2000's but the original masters were in the Universal fire. I am surprised there wasn't a backup somewhere. Before the internet it was fun to roll the record stores to find rare, B sides, etc..... Looks like this has entered that realm.
Love this movie since I was a kid.
Finally own it on DVD..
Never heard the full version of this song before.
Take care All..
supermanscottforever
I have a PS4.. haven't tried the Blu-ray yet..
didn't know there was a full version, been looking for this for years.
Greatest romantic comedy ever. The day I found the double DVD with Mannequin 2 is one of the greatest days of my life.
You know, ive seen the ORIGINAL Mannequin probably 50 times, but ive NEVER seen part 2.

I can hear the sound effects in my head!!!

Always loved this song. Played the VHS back to death back in the day 🤣

I love this song! The perfect choice for an opening song for this film!
Even though Mannequin was an okay movie, it was at least original. But I always remember the beginning of the movie and especially this song!
Best movie of 20th century you mean:p
I love the cartoon they show at the beginning while they play the song.
I love this song and mannequin 💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋

“Mama put the coins on my eyes because I SURELY don’t believe what I am seeing!”
Yet another relisten on a sunny day in the garden and this is way more a go go's song than just a standalone belinda song... which i Love

This song has sort of a Walk Like an Egyptian vibe to it, which I find to be pretty awesome.
Love this movie and this song.
just a great feel good movie and music
Never heard of this full song before & it sounds pretty interesting.
My favorite movie as a kid.... Hollywood and get me Hollywood. LOL
This song speaks to me in a different way. I was born in 87 so maybe I heard it in the womb.
This song should be on her greatest hits. It’s so hard to get.
Please tell me, how did you get the full version of this song?? I was told that Belinda Carlisle never actually released it.

@@davidC1984 that's incredible. thank you for posting it!
Sweet!
Marty Mcfly .
Remember this from my childhood.
This song should have more likes. It's very fun.
I love this song
this song is 80s rad.
The movie's pretty silly, but the song is awesome!
The movie is basically a modern version of Pygmalion.
I love silly things
Ive seen sillier movies ..plz
@@NateSean it doesn't change that how silly this movie is. however that's why people love this movie!
Nostalgia
My favorite song and movie
Favorite song?!? And movie?!?You obviously have marbles in your head instead of a brain!😂
I love you Jane 💗
Switcher, you're one stick puppy!!
Like it!
OOOOH ALBERT LEFT ME THAT BITCH! HE SAID MY THIGHS WERE TOO FAT! DO THEY LOOK TOO FAT?!? YOU DIDN'T LOOK!
Hollywood!!
In your wildest dreams Pamz babe ❤️!!
Why was this song never released?
Belinda didn’t like it very much at the time. The tapes went “missing” for years.
Well that sucks. I think this is one of her best personally.
im 18 and just vibing
And i wonder why i am such a lesbian 🤔🤔🤔 Catrall and Carlise
And I'm gay cause of McCarthy! Hollywood is a little too gay, though!
@@christophersorick4929 lol truth right 😄😄😄😄
Great movie but the song is no less beautiful. Belinda is such a cool artist
Bless those 80s musicians and their cocaine-fueled recording sessions... The music sounds great, but I worry about their mental health these days ^_^
The gayest straight romance there ever was! Iconic.
2:23 It sounds like someone kicked a reverb unit the size of the Empire State Building.
Does anyone know, lf Kim Cattrall is married? ...and lf she isn't, Do you think she might be interested, ln going, Out, With me, Someday, Soon?! :)
It's a girly song but it kind of rocks.
The Cinema Snub: Maniac brought me here.
so she got back to finish this song with the go goes
Thats what Im wondering... is it Belinda Carlisle only or the GoGos?....
😔😞
D+
I can't believe they still haven't been able to this into a digital music format. They don't even have the Mannequin soundtrack.
