I’ve been doing tree work for a few months and just recently took on 3 large 110’ pines where most of the limbs had to be rigged. Was able to fell the trees in 4 cuts. I’ve done a lot in my life but I will tell you this was one of the most exhausting things I’ve done to date. You make it look like a breeze August.
Wanted to say I wish I had a guy like you on my crew over the past 23 years and recently just saw you on you tube, I worked mainly high and low power utility lines where machinery couldn't go. Absolutely stellar and keep up the outstanding work!!
Absolutely amazing job. Really enjoyed how much you went out of the way for the homeowner, to make sure no shrubs or spots of grass were injured during the process.
Thank you for your videos, I have learned a lot from you! My Mom had a tree that was coming down and I was able to keep a sketchy company from getting the job. They didn’t know how to rig a branch to bring it down! So I stopped Mom from hiring them and went with another company. During the cut, I found out that the Foreman and two of the crew watch you also. We had a little bonding moment on their break!!
Wild strawberries are also known as fraises du bois (strawberries of the woods). They're used to make Fraise liqueur because of excellent, subtle flavor.
August, Been a viewer for some time now, Have enjoyed it all. Be safe sir, Blessings always, Just me and June living life in beaumont ca. as a boy i lived in grants pass, redwood ave i believe, used to walk to the old barn market for bazooka joe bubble gum, great memories for me
As an old man, who had some tall trees taken down around my house let me explain why old people cut down tall trees. A tree falling on the house is a much bigger deal. In our younger days we'd just take our chain saw and cut it off the house and take some plywood and patch up the hole until the roofers got there to fix the roof. We're too old for that and injuries we suffer from a tree falling on the house are much more life threatening. The tree debris that fall on the roof is a problem. We're too old to get on the roof. It's hard to find someone to come over to your house to take a few limbs off the roof.
we get a load of bollocks like this, fogies trying to have 100 year old trees taken down because "they sway in the wind" or they drop leaves on the verges. trees don't just fall over for no reason, have them inspected properly as is your legal responsibility if they're on your land or don't move into a house with trees surrounding it if you cant tidy up twigs.
Another GREAT one! Your SPEEDLINING placed all those cut limbs on a diagonal angle to the 'protected pavement' and OFF the customer's grass as asked. He must have told the wife, in the window, "MARTHA, he obeys me and cuts the limbs and they FLY above ground for his crew to gather!" Thank you AUGUST!!!
The lawn is saved. Pretty amazing how efficient speedlining can be and even better when your team applies the technique as sport. I'm sure the customers were as impressed and mesmerized by the process as the UA-cam audience is.
That speedline rigging is pure magic. Jeff "to the driveway" Schroeder is the man..... 😎👊 MonkeyBeaver crew gettin' done again! Keep yourselves safe! 😃👍❤🌲 Randy
Randy you are great dude. Idk how you have the energy to be so positive all the time. Subbed to your channel like 6 years ago when I was learning. Thank you for your help.
@@arborymastersllc.9368 I really appreciate that, thanks! As far as being positive, I see far too many people learning to do all kinds of different things and they get smashed with critical trolls. Make it fun and exciting. I want to see you ride the speed line from the tip top to the driveway. Maybe follow a couple large branches for a soft skid to stop.
I gotta tell you at 22:10 was probably the funniest interaction of anyone trying to start a conversation and not make it awkward I’ve ever seen in my life.
Would really be worth it to you to get a bli300 battery. Lasts almost twice as long. Just a little bit heavier...love your content, and got to use my suspenders last Thursday... So comfortable
looking at the two manhole covers, I'm guessing that the owners septic system is under the lawn. he was probably told not to drive over it because compacting the soil could reduce the life span of the leach field.
I’m in the process of becoming an Arborist, and I’m not scared of heights, but I’m looking at how you are on that skinny little tree and I can’t lie I’m kinda like 😬😬😰 hope I’m not too scared to go up this high
“When it comes off give it a flingy” -August Hunicke These are nuggets of wisdom, I hope you youngin’s are writing this shih down. The editing on these are gold. Sending a limb down to Damien like a rollercoaster, I feel guilty that I didn’t have to pay for that ride 😂

August, Tim the Plumber from Kansas City, I’ve been a Master Plumber for 26 years now but I’ve been watching your videos for 3-4 years now, does that count as apprenticeship towards becoming a Master Arborist? Thinking of changing careers after 35 years in the plumbing industry 😉 Love your videos and crew!
Howdy August, Damien and Jeff, enjoy the speed lining especially with Jeff "Shrubmeister" Schroeder anchoring the line. August did you have Damien send up some Dramamine to counter the effects of the "Shrubmeister" shaking down branches? Have a Day! ;~)
We have a large ( by local standards) blue spruce that I think is a beautiful tree. She has a picture of it at shoulder height when the house was being built. Now it towers up and alongside the living room, have trimmed the branches which now overhang a portion of the roof, and the insurance man thinks it’s gotta go. I have had five or six years of appreciation added to its existence by conveniently being really busy with other projects, whilst cutting truck loads of cedar, ash, apple, and maple that are really in the way. I think this fall might be it’s demise though. Gotta have a place to sleep ya know………
Haha you guys need the gopro coverage haha if you buy it, it allows you to break them and take them to where you got them and they give you a brand new one for no cost :) it's a handy thing to have haha I use gopros on the top front of my freestyle drone I built and it takes a beating sometimes haha and they just hand me a new one lol ❤️
