I wish there were english subs for this. Considering I've heard that everybody in the series, besides Soma, is missing from God Eater 3, Resonant Ops is the last and latest place we see everyone, including Yuu the protagonist from the 1st game... but its a Japanese-only turn-based mobile game... why???
@@ashura44444 Not long after I posted this comment years ago I did give GE3 a try, and while I enjoyed the gameplay enough with the updated mechanics, I had to get used to the new crew which didn't capture my interest like the original characters. I played until Soma (Ein?) first appears and then I ended up dropping the game since the story was a big part of what kept me invested in the first 2 games and it wasn't the same case in the third.
I just found out about resonance ops after playing ge3 again after years of putting it aside.... I... This is jarring to say the least.... God Eater's theme is about humanity's struggle for survival in the harsh environment changed by the aragami.... This is slice of life... Not only that the game this is tied to is TBS.... Which is off the usual Gameplay... Is this some parallel world type scenario? Which mirrors GE3? Yooooo 3:13 the disrespect to our boss Soma.... What the hell is this spin off...
To let u all know, Lenka is canon character, he appeared in games so probably he is not with Alisa because of other missions or maybe 2 prototypes cant work together atm.
Well i can only say for Alisa not sure about Soma: She's the director of the far east branch and that white "coat thing" represents her status as Director.
They all became far east indepedent unit, Cradle. Lead by canon burst/resurrection protagonist, Yuu Kannagi. I think those white coat is the characteristic of the Cradle unit.
While the games have always sold pretty well for some reason God eaters animated outings have always had problems attracting fans that weren't already playing the games. I'm not sure why and considering that the 12 ep anime adapting a third of the first games story never spawned any sequels, its possible Namco has decided that. A) There isn't much profit to be made in a full-length series or. B) The anime was always meant to just advertise the games. Either way, it's a shame they just went halfway and never got to the Soma/Shio arc.

Like this is the best time for them to release it's season 2 after Fate's heaven feel final movie got released by ufotable, imo. I seriously miss my boy Lenka and the anime + his character development
Why does the MC sounds and looks like Fujimaru Ritsuka (Gudao) from FGO is it because Alisa’s voice actress voiced Jalter and Jeanne and Ryougi Shiki ?

Yu is still the canon protagonist of God Eater tho. That means if Lenka does exist in the games, he's from the one in the anime

Ritsuka and MC have different VAs. The MC's VA is actually voiced by the same person who voiced Emil Castagnier and Akihisa Yoshii
