I listened to Dennis Lloyd and his music for the first time this past month, and I cannot describe how fortunate I am to have learned of this dude and his ability to convert such a common story that I imagine most men have experienced in every kind of difficult relationship of their own,, and are unable to come close to describing the plethora of emotions they have experienced as a result, such as the wonder, happiness, joy, anger, breakdown, confusion, pain, resolution, wisdom enlightenment and other things that are realized from those experiences. The music snd lyrics that Mr. Lloyd are so very complimentary to each other, and fit together like an intimate relationship itself. I am very impressed with the gift of expression he has been blessed with, as his songs are charming, eloquent, thoughtful and most amusing. Most of a;ll they are real, and anyone who knows anything about music, knows that it is given of the artist himself, and that is what I feel was given in this music. I would never say that Mr Lloyd is "my favorite" or "the best" musicuan I have ever heard, as to me that would only serve to reduce its value, along with the other artists and musicians that I feel are part of a unique grouping that I feel are the best and would be considered my favorites. So with that I would certainly confirm that Dennis Lloyd has taken up residence within my mind heart and soul through his music, which is something that I hope will serve to inspire him further throughout his life in every way.
