Oprah Winfrey is an American talk show host, television producer, actress, author, and philanthropist. She is best known for her talk show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, broadcast from Chicago, which was the highest-rated television program of its kind in history and ran in national syndication for 25 years, from 1986 to 2011.
Winfrey was born into poverty in rural Mississippi to a single teenage mother and later raised in inner-city Milwaukee. She has stated that she was molested during her childhood and early teens and became pregnant at 14; her son was born prematurely and died in infancy. Winfrey was then sent to live with the man she calls her father, Vernon Winfrey, a barber in Nashville, Tennessee, and landed a job in radio while still in high school. By 19, she was a co-anchor for the local evening news. Winfrey's often emotional, extemporaneous delivery eventually led to her transfer to the daytime talk show arena, and after boosting a third-rated local Chicago talk show to first place, she launched her own production company.

Oprah I have listen to this talk over & over again. Every word went deep into my soul . I stand at cross road of my life right now at the age of 65 and have prayed to God daily for his peace and knowing if I am heading down his path he has created for me. I always have had the faith that God gives us his answers through others life experiences and more that HE use all of us as his instruments for good if we choose his path. That as you said we all have something to give back to the universe. We are all children of our living God trying to help each other to get home again is just my thinking.
This talk from your beautiful heart ❤️ to ours has taught me I’m not a failure but a work in progress and that even at 65 there’s always still HOPE for change in my life to walk with my head held high and realize that I can change my life to be better than I’m living now. That it is never to late if you move forward with love, and a deep sense of gratitude to God every day. I hear your words but can't imagine there is any good to come in my life. I try I am grateful I believe in God I pray I smile I am good to others so why am I feeling I have no purpose? I try to do what's right but I am ostracized for caring. I don't want to do as others do I try to make a difference with the individual at my job. I'm considered a snitch for bringing forward the injustices in my workplace. How do I help others when everyone is taking advantage of the system? Individuals deserve the best care it hurts that I have to watch the neglect despite telling people in authority. I will continue to try I have a conscience help these people. We should be more than glorified baby sitters.
