I'm going to Seoul in April. I'm definitely looking forward to visiting Mangwon Market. I don't speak Korean but I didn't seem to struggle that much ordering food by pointing.

Thanks for sharing, am very curious after you walk passed the strawberry vendor, the road leads to an alley of shop houses that has lots of restaurants? Mangwon seems to cater for more locals not many tourist which I am very keen to explore but am concern with the language barrier. Is it possible for a tourist to visit there?
Yes there are many restaurants but mostly korean food. You're absolutely right, Mangwon is primarily caters to locals, which makes it even more special to explore. While there might be a language barrier, don't worry! You'll find that some places have simple English menus or seller who can communicate in basic English. It's definitely possible for tourists to visit Mangwon and have a memorable experience exploring the local vibes
