Hello !! Thanks for providing Real-world DevOps Cloud Roadmap . And most of all mentioning Topics in Core IT SKills which are just randomly only read-upon One small request , for "Core IT Skills" section from above roadmap , which consist of Topics from Networking , HA, Storages and System Engg Roles . Can u provide trusted Online resources and their Cert Ref(for Knowledge purpose) for detail study . Also from Python/Golang , Project-based learning resources ?? As this in Cloud-level there are simply ClickTheButtons , But in interviews often ask Deep Scenario based Questions
Great suggestion, I'll make sure to add those resources in a future update! 🙏 however, Cloud is not just clickthebuttons if you create hands-on projects, when we learn cloud from tutorials you will see buttons being clicked but that's for the fundamental concepts, you need to join all those concept together to create some complex projects to get the real feel of cloud. You can check out #10weeksofcloudops for realtime projects. Project #2 is one of the most asked interview questions, designing a highly available, fault tolerant, highly scaling 3-tier architecture in a cloud.
I feel like I have theoretical knowledge of the core IT skills section but very little practice. could you recommend some ways/projects to solidify my understanding in those areas? Great video!
Hi Piyush, by any chance are you thinking of creating a CKAD like you made a CKA one ? And thank you so much for all the hardwork you put for the community !!
Hi Piyush Thanks for the great video. I have one query, there is this role SRE(Site Reliability Engineer) being used a lot as well nowadays and both devops and SRE have many similarities. Then how is SRE different than Devops? Would really appreciate your input on it.
SRE is a specialization within DevOps that focuses more on observability and automation to ensure your system is up and running 24*7, I'll make a video to explain the difference!
Hi Piyush Sir , The topics I have done yet in my devops and cloud learning phase : SDLC , Git and Github , Linux , Networking basics . Currently preparing for az 900 abd probably will be giving this certification on Monday . Suggest me Sir , Am I going good
@ Sir I am a fresher still in 2nd year , Suggest me some internship or jobs I can apply for or Make a full video on how a fresher can apply for jobs or internship in devops and actually get it in 2025
The way I see it, DevOps is not just about tools. I'd prefer spending more time on fundamentals rather than tools. Yes, Cloud is vast and even 2-3 years is not enough but who is going to follow a roadmap that is 4-5 years long? 😄 Time allotted is for fundamentals and learning the bare minimum, projects and hands-on comes is phase 5.
Hello pradhanacharyaji , i want ask a small doubt , I started with learning devops, Many seniors whom i have contacted with recommend me to learn development first before devops , they said learn full stack dev first . Is this correct bz i dont have any intrest with or should i continue learning devops without caring about development , I am confused with this question as i am in my 2nd year and not much time is left for internship season to come.. Eagerly waiting for you solution Yours sincerely Bhavishya
They are totally seperate roles, soln architect mostly design the system as per client's requirements, it's a presales role, they work on proof of concept and help with the implement of the project. Yes, they earn more than devops engineer but you need to have a solid experience for a soln architect role, atleast 6-8 years in most of the companies. I will soon record a podcast with a solutions architect to help answer these questions. stay tuned
I am a gcp certified cloud engineer , should I also learn a different cloud like azure or aws and do I need to get an associate certification in that cloud as well or is the gcp certification enough
Depends on a lot of things, your fundamentals, docker and knowledge of Kubernetes, if you have done CKA already then probably lesser time as many of the topics overlap, if directly going to CKAD then a different timeline
@@TechTutorialswithPiyush sahi mein batao lagna aasan hai kya fresher ko job... Kafi log bolate Hain nahin easy nahi ... Devops me kitni salary hoti hai
Absolutely bro, i got mine fresh out of college, obviously took me 300+ applications but like wayne greyzky once said “you miss 100% of the shots you dont take” so yeah- get your skills ready and than go for it
@@Poopconnaisseur thank you for sharing your personal experience. People need to talk more to other folks who achieved their hard work rather than social media influencers who just create fear oin everyones mind.
If you are just starting your journey, I'd say spend atleast a year on upskilling, dont think about interviews now, Think about what to learn and how to learn , spend a first few months in understanding computer fundamentals and Linux. Take one step at a time
Why would you want to show fake experience? how are you planning to justify that? These are fundamentals and ideal for someone getting into Cloud/DevOps not for a 3 years experienced, they would expect more from a 3 years experienced
And who said that? Did you ever talk to someone who got a DevOps job as a fresher? I will soon create videos with freshers who got the job as DevOps, I personally know many of them. Stay tuned!
Thanks for giving this amazing roadmap sir ! i am very inspiring to your journey production support role to Cloud & DevOps Engineer role !
Glad it inspired you! You got this! 🚀
Looking forward for the video for already working professionals
I hear you, will definitely create one

Focus in mastering gcp and all the fundamentals of networking and you should be good. Find those companies who use gcp and apply apply apply
focus on GCP for now, go in-depth, build projects, solve problems using cloud solutions
From where i can all these Devops tool
You can find many of these tools online with a quick search or some of the resources I provided in the video.
