RIP King Tracy. He was the first graffiti writer that I was really fixated by back in the 1980s. FUZZ ONE talked about him in his book and what a massive influence he was back in the early 70s, huge in that Washington Heights area of Manhattan. His characters and pieces were the absolute essence of New York graffiti back then.
