I think the main issue is that in the existing track, Cathy is already slightly off-beat (she often starts her lyric parts later and sings them faster, i.e. "feelings untold") which makes this awful

honestly at some parts, like the buildup before 'Oh, Round and round we go' it doesn't sound that bad.. Maybe tweaked to fit more in a key ingredient-esque mix if they decide to do that like they did with between two worlds. Very cool!
And at the "delete" part where they start going faster it sounds cool too, specially when in one hear u hear Heath's Delete and in the other one u hear Cathy's Delete
The "call and response"-esque bit at "the message, has already been sent" part at the end honestly sounds so good as well~
