Is it possible to voltage-control the speed of the MCT8316ZT or does it require a PWM? I know that the pot on the EVM goes through an MSP, but I want to avoid using a processor on my implementation if I can. My implementation needs two speeds, about 75% speed forward and 100% reverse. If I must use a PWM, I'll likely use a 555.

Hi Rob,
The MCT8316Z requires a PWM input, so you need to use a 555 timer or simple housekeeping MCU to provide the PWM signal.
Thanks,
