    I bought some netting from agriculturesolutions for green bean trellis. This netting is great stuff. Have used the same netting for several years. I set tposts and run a few rows of bailing string and tie the netting on. The beans climb up it good and not that expensive. A the worst part is removing the vines from the trellis at the end.

    Thanks yall. I use the same post driver. I've never done half runner's. I'm going to plant a ten foot row and try this out.

    I rig up a similar system for my beans . Using two poles horizontal to the ground . The top one strapped firmly to two vertical poles 2 m off the floor. The lower one is six inches off the floor tethered to vertical poles. Then using the resend larks head knot I tie in continually going from the top horizontal to the lower and back. At the end of the season I just roll up the lot and tie the two horizontals together.

    Did you figure out the dead spot in your garden? I have the same thing going on.

      We never did figure out the dead spot in the garden we just planted different veggies in that spot the following year and it did just fine I don't know of it was just that there wasn't enough nutrients in the ground right there for beans Maybe we didn't fertilize enough but either way it's fine now

    Good video. How far apart to you plant the beans (not the rows)?

    Less than one year later, twine is 40 to 80 bucks at out tractor supply now... Sheesh! But, This is what I was looking for. I think I'm going to try this on my tomatoes as well. The Florida weave makes me crazy.. 😂😂

    Hey buddy, when you plant your half runners how wide are your rows and what spacing do you use?

    • @tri-countyfamilyfarms1790
      @tri-countyfamilyfarms1790  2 роки тому

      We plant the rows 42 inches apart we strow ours thick as we can get them with bush and pole beans to guarantee full coverage and a plentiful harvest

      @@tri-countyfamilyfarms1790 Hey, thanx for the response. Any advice for white half runners? First year I've grown them and first year I've had a big enough area for a large garden it's about 100x50. Would they be the same as bush and pole beans? I was growing in a 10x15 area and planted beans every year but not full rows. Any advice is appreciated, thanks again to you all!

      We trellis all of our beans except the bush beans the same way we use something similar to the Florida weave on our bush beans to keep them off the ground
