In this movie the man was impatient, it was not about his church members. In this movie the man had also hardened his heart
He was warned not to give away his position in the Lord for food like Esau. He was prideful and very impatient. He lead his wife to lie for him to their landlord and he rejected the old car. He was playing with FIRE and he rejected truth because of fake fame. No one to be blamed but him.
You can not pray yourself or can anyone pray you out of the processing of God , everyone every child of God must go through the wilderness , to really get prepared n ready for what is coming , even Jesus was tested, he was also very hungry at the time that the devil came to tempt him with food but he refused n he finished well , everyone must go through the processing of God before commiting great things into their hands , because if you don't wait for it and longed for it you may never value it when it's finally comes , every situation of a believer God is involved, if he allows it that means he has a purpose for that. You just need to keep praying n asking God for grace to wait for his perfect timing ❤
This is a true life story, I have read about it..... The only difference is that the pastor was taken to a River instead

Nice movie. Sincerely speaking the Pastor even till the end was foolish. It is better to start and end well, than to start well and not end well. I feel sorry for the Pastor's wife. Gaining the world and losing your soul to the devil is the worst thing to ever happen to mankind. It is the Lord that giveth the power to get wealth (Deu 8 v 18). God is ever so merciful. Pastor Faith started well but he became worldly and is soul will rot in HELL. Patience is a unique fruit of the spirit that ALL Christians need in trying times and having to wait patiently on the Lord is the necessary.
Christians, and ministers should not get carried away by the things of this world. We came naked and we will go back naked.

One of the major issue of man is that once his mind is made up any warning from the Holy Spirit is interpreted as from the devil which was where Faith missed it and a lot of us.

Why will someone trade direct communication with the Holy Spirit for some impartation by elders? Beware of any decision you make out of desperation. When you feel desperate of pressured into making a decision (Marriage, job, etc) take a step back and pray and wait. Lord help your church!
Btw, even if a husband is in full time ministry, why can't the wife work to help out with things in the home? A wife can't want to play full time housewife while her husband is in the early stages of building the ministry. We need to exercise wisdom in all things.

This is deep. Imagine one lost and another gained. My Late Mother (though she was a good woman) gave her life to Jesus few hour to her death. Some years back, the Lord sent people to her. She had a dream herself but she refused.
I remember that day after midnight when she had an attack and during the process, she gave her life to Christ. Yes I cried and still cry am so glad and grateful to Almighty God because she did the most important thing.
