- We decided it was a good idea to go down this trail alone. We quickly found out that was a silly idea and were joined by a great group of guys that chauffeured us through MONEY TALKS. This trail tested our Jeep driving abilities but the Jeep keeps making big trails seem small.
Jeep Specs
-2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (LJ)
-6 speed 4.0L combo with banks exhaust
-Open front D30 and factory D44 limited slip rear
-4” lift
-35” cooper stt

That feeling of adrenaline after completing some spicy ass trails.
It’s a crazy rush
Pretty capable given open diffs and no rock sliders. You will eventually get better at learning where the wheels and diff are. Driving a trail like that without lockers will definitely help you get better at picking lines that work. I was cringing for your rocker panels every time you went over a large boulder. The steps just end up robbing clearance and damage the body (thanks Captain Obvious). Just picked up a 2005 LJ Sport for my son's first auto. Got some interior upgrades done. First exterior upgrade will likely be sliders and diff guards. Then we can at least protect the rockers until we get around to the suspension and tire upgrades. I wheel my '13 Power Wagon in places like Rausch Creek, so I highly value armoring up as an early upgrade. My diff guards, skid plates and sliders tell many a story.
It’s been very fun learning to drive it on the trails with the open difs. To be completely honest it really does well considering! We did end up putting the rock sliders on thankfully! Dang that’s an awesome first rig for your son! I have a dream of someday pulling our LJ with a power wagon to the start of our adventures! Cheers and thanks for watching!

Good job I’m currently building a 97 tj myself. It had a body lift when I got it. I’ve added sliders, a winch, and just purchased a lift, adjustable front track bar, Novak shift cable, and sway bar disconnects. I’m pretty stoked about the build and can’t wait to get it on the trails

I’ve got almost the same thing…. 3.5” lift, 35’s. But mine has Poison Spyder rock sliders and 4.88 gears. Those are two things I highly recommend. Fortunately for me, it had the sliders and gears when I bought it. Good looking L’j !

Olek’s Adventures It’s definitely addicting. I have 3 Jeeps and looking for another one just for off-roading. My others are all low mile classics now. I’m looking to get off-road more myself. Growing up I’d play off-road often. Now it’s time to go have more fun.
My Jeep And Me when I was growing up my family was always in belief that if the vehicle was off road you were wrecking it. I’m ready to test these wrangler in the situations they’re made for. We actually have 2 wranglers but we haven’t introduced the wrangler that started it all... yet! Soon though
You also have a great flow to your videos. The spacing is good, camera angles are good. I think you are doing a great job. Have you done many videos before?
My Jeep And Me we just started the videos. I just try to mimic the videos I like to watch and that keep me engaged. I appreciate the kind words about our videos.
I have an 02 TJ with 33s and a 2" lift with a 1.25" body lift and I think it could do this. Thered probably be some scraping on the sliders though because its on the lower side than yours lol. Will be going with 35s and a 3" lift with the body lift at some point. Has an antirock front sway bar too.
Add sliders before you hurt that nice Jeep!

Your front lower control arms are upside down. Flip em over so they are bent up. They are meant for high clearance
Nice jeep man I have a jeep lj that's built up it's on 35s and has a 4 inch lift I would suggest that you should redo the gearing if you really want to get into crawling maybe a front locker too
It’s such a fun Jeep. The guy I bought it from must have just done everything for mall crawling. It’s my first Jeep so I had no idea what to look for besides rust and an unlimited. Kicking around build ideas as we go forward, do you have suggestions on locker and gears?
@@thomasolek8836 yeah iv noticed that you dont have a front locker that will help you get your front wheels over the rock a little easyer instead of just spinning one wheel and on my jeep when I put my 35s on it I regeared it just a little lower it kinda helped with more control when crawling

What brand lift do you have?
To be honest I’m not sure. The previous owner had it all set up when I bought it and we’ve just been wheeling it. I’ve asked based on pictures and experience and I think it’s a 4” rough country with a spacer in the front to help with spring sag and keep it level. It’s been pretty good to us but will get upgraded in the future.
Is the bandana on the roll cage like a sexual code thing in the Jeep community?
