I Will Remember [Redux]

A tribute to Methos, the world's oldest man; a promise that we "will remember" him. Presented by Mad Kitty Productions; Redux editing by ButMadNNW.
Circa 1998, a friend and I (then known online as "Bright Girl" and "Methos Watcher," respectively) created our very first music video, using clips from "Highlander: The Series" and the song "I Will Remember You" by Sarah McLachlan. The source video was VCR-recorded reruns off USA Network (and by the time we finished the video, we had a copy of a copy of a so-so source); the editing bay was two VCRs and a CD Player linked together by A/V cables. All things considered, what with it being our first and the quality of our equipment, it wasn't horrible.
But with today's technology... Yow.
So, in the interests of preserving, improving, and sharing it, I remade that old video. The majority of the video is as faithful a re-creation as I could manage (but improved somewhat, since we weren't able to manage fades - among other things - back then); I replaced the video (and kept the audio) at the beginning and end - mostly because I could.

Beautiful... I believe Methos is one of the best characters ever created, really, he makes you reflect, accept, laugh and think of the true meanings in life. The great, pure talent performance of Mr. Peter Wingfield and the writing complexity of Mr. David Abramowitz gave life to this wonderful charater that has become so dear to fans all over the world. Absolutely great series and your video tribute is just perfect. Thank you.

Wow...that was beautiful! I loved it you did a fantastic job with this, the scenes matched with the song perfectly. Methos is such a smart ass funny character, but you really have to feel bad for him knowing what he's gone through in 5,000 years of life.
Anyways great job again be proud of this!

You are so welcome...I wish I could make these music videos like you and the others who have made Highlander ones..I've been in love with the series since I was a little kid and happily own the first 5 seasons on DVD, but it would be so cool to do what your doing! Keep up the great work! Your videos are so cool!

Back when I use to watch this show I would only do so if Methos would appear. The other characters are great and all but Methos was a sarcastic, funny, tough, smart ass hottie. All the requirements of a 5000 year old man.
