I like to imagine the random map generation as me being some interdimensional hero who travels between times and places in order to find these ancient mobs. I think that's what this game mechanic was meant to be seen as but many people just see the gameplay and exploits rather than the lore.
Loving the new update and dlc. They NEED to add a stash box and item locking. If they do that, this game will be in a really good place once the rest of the dlc launches.
@@bestgun9994 I think you're kind of incorrect have you played Diablo 3 reaper of souls expansion I have and I know I'm talking about when you get a legendary inside that game it glows orange to indicate it which is the same color that do unique of Minecraft dungeon has.
Also if you sacrifice Any two soul type items you get an automatic 46 or something percent chance for Ancient Mobs . Also the info about the rooms was super helpful!

I think i have thought of an amazing build. Gilded moon daggers with committed built in, enchantments: critical radiance and swirling Gilded verdant robe with potion barrier built in, enchantments: cooldown soul damage and deflect any soul bow/crossbow with dynamo and anima conduit gong of weakening, death cap mushroom, ironhide amulate charge dynamo before any level i understand that with higher level items e.g. 250 the cooldown won't matter because the duration is probably longer than the cooldown and you could just use not gilded full plate amour or renegade with the enchants . the only bad thing about this build is the reach of the moon daggers.
To make sure I don't miss anything, I keep my map open and take every path before going to the next waypoint. (I turn off my map while fighting tough mobs and bosses, though)
@@darknine4996 brooo I have every trophy in minecraft dungeons including all dlc trophies if u add me on ps4 I can give you some amazing advice and I was new to ancient hunts but now I know everything about the game lol if u need help with anything then please add me I need friends to play minecraft dungeons with and I have world record for no glitches tower run apocalypse no deaths, and no heals during boss fight and I got 9 gilded unique seasonal event items in 4 and a half hours, I beat the tower on apocalypse in 24 minutes
Also I know alot of 6 ancient combo's and you don't need precious unique jailer scythe for it lol I will tell u all combos and can u add ms if you're on ps4 or ps5 unless this game is cross play
@Lord Force Dude, it's gonna take me a while to unlock Apocalypse +25, I'm SO lucky that the 'life boost" glitch still works, otherwise, I would've given up when playing on the max difficulty!

@@04AMofficial I'm on Apocalypse +13 or +14 right now. But.. I can keep upgrading my armor with life boost, so I can use it EVERYTIME I go on my recommended difficulty. I'm doing this, so I can get through Apocalypse Plus A LOT easier. Does that sound good?
I was so sad when there wasnt a final boss for the nether DLC I was really hoping for the hovering inferno when they showed its statue in the nether fortress level, but the dlc is amazing nonetheless.
Is anyone else having an issue wherein their game doesn't save any progress made after the new update? My game keeps reverting to my pre-update save whenever I open it.
@Novaevo Same here, if I could get Fighter's Bindings with Thundering (built-in, max-tier) + Critical Hit, Radiance, AND Swirling, that would be SUPER awesome. I wonder how powerful those would be.
@@ILIKEOTTERS Soo.. it basically has triple multishot, chain reaction AND infinity. It really does have triple multishot, since the Harp Crossbow fires 5 arrows, in general.
The first ancient hunt I did it glitched out in the mansion so I couldn’t progress but went back and had to use a light feather to get over to some areas, found the untreatable one, and died

Is it just me or is it harder to find unique drops now iv done 10+ runs on the lower temple and only got 1 before I'd get atleast 6 in 10 runs or even in obsidian chests it feels like they lowered the odds to get them

Mine is not working at all. My power is low. I'm at 39. BUT i sacrificed three things equaling over 100. After i confirm difficulty i try to start is and it just goes back to difficulty. I tried going a couple below and it still won't start. I'm on xbox one X and the game is up to date. Please help! Anyone!
yeah if you look at the gilded perk it will have a I,II,III on the top right corner which means it’s teir 1-3 it’s the level that perk is at just like enchantments. so the higher the difficultly the higher that level will be

“Exit to Camp”. It belongs to whoever sacrificed the items to create the hunt. That person needs to reconnect to it for others to be able to join. Each player can have their own hunt available in the background.
Is that glitch to obtain milions of hp fixed? (i don't know how to translate its ability name)... And if you die 3 times, will you receive less loot and gold?

Does anyone know if you can get daily trial exclusive items in these hunts? I noticed they have a special rune attached to them (light blue runes) and can summon the mooshroom ancient mob, but I haven't actually gotten any exclusive drops.

If you sacrifice a unique claymore and scale mail you get the Unbreakable One ancient boss, which drop fiery forges drops.
The ancient hunt inside Minecraft dungeons is equivalent to the rifts you do inside of Diablo 3 for the best equipment.

Had chances for five or six ancients, with very high percentages

If you spam click attack with swirling or shockwave on, it will constantly trigger

When you put enchantment points in it takes the levels as when i went from level 119 to level 85
Great, easier to get them back that way.
Difficulty affects what tier the gilded effect is, for example it seems to be 100% chance to be tier 3 on apoc+25

Any kind of weapon is okay it only depends on the runes and also the amount of power cuz you need at least 100

My fav part of the ancient hunt is the bosses or "MiniBosses". I always got that royal guard for that 1 level

After this I got fighters bidings with perfect enchants so its just rng

What does glided items give? Do they give buffs?
They give a built in enchantment
If the levels are too hard you can still use the health boost glitch, Mojang have not patched it

First of all using point takes ur levels away so be careful also you might be offering bad items
My game literally just says no ancient mobs respond to these offerings. After offering 400+ total and 8 points of enchantment....

uniques have more runes so you can battle more different ancients
