So much hype for these cases on UA-cam. I’ve tried it myself and I’d say that it’s okay case. Thought the touch of it would be something new or nice to the touch but it felt just like what you would imagine I guess. Maybe great for the cheap price. +/- symbols on volume buttons is one point that make it looks cheap cuz most lower price cases manufacture love to do it.
Nice clean review. While I have never purchased this brand, I would prefer the sheath . I've already bought too many cases for my iPhone. I usually rock with Spigen, UAG or Torras is my latest purchase. Keep up the good work man !

I get what you’re saying about the Frankenstein build, but in my opinion, the Sheath is already absolutely perfect as-is. I don’t want them to change anything about it 😅. It’s my favorite case and ticks all the boxes for me personally. But that’s just, like, my opinion, man!
The camera lip on both are the same (about 4.67 mm). As in they’re both higher than the camera module by the same height. The one on Synthesis looks taller when you look at it from the side because the back panel of the Sheath is a lot thicker than Synthesis. The Sheath is the thicker case (on the back) between the two. Sheath is 2.77 mm thick vs Synthesis is 2.07 mm thick.
Good video Nick. I have the Synthesis, I like it but my fingers get irritated by the texture on the sides. I can only use it for a day or two before I have to swap it for something else. Anyone else having this issue? From what I've seen the Sheath doesn't have that texture.
These YT reviews between Sheath vs Synthesis just makes it difficult to choose between the two. I wish I can feel them before I choose sigh!! They seem to be both good cases. I’m leaning towards the Synthesis coz it’s a tad slimmer and lighter and prefers the look of the camera cutout but then again, you said the Sheath just feels better. 😅
The sheath is definitely a bit softer than the synthesis, kinda hard to describe I would say like a soft sandstone feel but it’d be best to try it out!

Haha I feel the same way, sometimes I’d rather they just keep it the same, it’s definitely as close to perfection as you can get!

Now I want the sheath ! I have the synthesis for a month and it’s the best one so far but I want to know how it feels the texture on the sheath

You’re right the sheath doesn’t have that texture and it definitely does take a while to get used to those extra grips on the sides of the synthesis
does the texture on the sheath feel like the tpu on otterbox commuter/defender?
I would say the sheath has a softer feel to it
I just wish Caudabe would make a crimson Synthesis case to go along with the Sheath.

I personally use a magsafe car mount and have tested it pretty thoroughly with both of these cases and have had no issues

Haha I definitely relate but it’s extremely subjective, a really difficult choice to make without feeling the texture of both cases
Don’t agree at all. The sheath is bigger and has less grip. Protection is better too on the synthesis

do both cases have the same texture? Which has more of gripper texture. My friend had the synthesis and it was slippy
They both have pretty much the same texture but are made from different materials which leads to a different feel

My Gen 4 gets more use than my Synthesis now.

Neither of them really show smudges or fingerprints, I have dedicated videos for both of them where I go more in depth:)
