5:20 One Galleface mall is a part of Shangri-la hotel was attacked by suicidal bombers on Easter Sunday back in 2019 including 2 other 5 star hotels in Colombo and 3 Catholic Churches. More than 260 people were killed on that day including few foreign tourists. Since that incident the security is still there even inside the mall. It is bit annoying to go through all these security measures, but it’s there for everybody’s safety.
