I'm pretty sure there is a way to achieve 100%. But there are a couple issues. First, I wasn't aware of the secret hang glider mission in the mountains when I first recorded this (I have a separate video on how to find it). Second, the password system only brings you back to the last place you were, but it doesn't save your percentage cleared. So even if you uncovered a ton of secrets, if you write down the password, quit the game and then come back to it, enter the password and pick up where you left off, your percentage cleared will start at 0% again. At least, that's how I believe it works. The main playthrough I did before this stream, I stopped in the middle of the game and used a password to bring it back up and I finished with an incredibly low clear rate. So, you'd have to make sure that you look for everything and anything before you face the final boss. At one time, I thought I saw what passwords you get if you clear so much of the game, but I don't think there was any special 100% cleared password. Maybe if I'm feeling up to it, I'll try getting 100% completion and then post the results.
