And now he dies at the final resting place of human heroes, among their statues, in front of their faces, as a tribute to them, by immolating his own lungs. 2 52 Everytime someone says sth like that, it is a mockery of a death so pathetic. This shows the contrast between Harrow and Aaravos. Harrow was fully aware Sarai wouldn't condone his vengence on Avizandum and the consequences of such an act, but he simply didn't have the strenght to let go of his hate when the opportunity arose to sate it. Still he found no joy in watching Avizandums slow, ignominious and agonizing end. Then there is Aaravos, who fully dedicated every once of his being to revenge, used it to drive him and keep himself together all these long years. He fully indulged, enjoyed and reveled in these short moments he planned, worked and waited for over 1000y. The moment all his labours came to fruition.
The elf’s veins were glowing purple when aaravos was inhabiting the body. Some would say that was merely a sign of aaravos’ magic flowing through him. But remember that he was infected through a bite from a pupa/caterpillar which in real life some are poisonous if ingested. I imagine the bite contained that same venom.
I hated Sol Regem when he was first introduced. He attacked a village of innocent people because one man used magic, because he viewed them as lesser beings. And I think his death is well deserved
Also he snitched on Leola and caused her fate. What That innocent dear sweet little girl did was no one near deserving of the price she payed. She did it out of kindness, oblivious to what she was doing. What happened to her was beyond cruel. unjustified and unforgivable. And it was all his fault. We saw what loosing her did to Aaravos. It makes what Aaravos has done to him look merciful. Kind even.
@@millyturrell8873 This is just an appetizer for what Aaravos would do if he had those Star Touched Elves at his mercy. Sol Regem snitched due to his racism towards humans. Scummy thing to do but I doubt he knew what would happen and it was less about Leola herself than about Sol Regem just being a racist. The Star Touched Elves outright MURDERED Aaravos' daughter right in front of him. They put him through the worst trauma any loving parent could ever go through. And why did they do it? Because Leola was a compassionate person. That's literally the only reason. The Merciful One was the only of those monsters who wasn't a complete psychopath but even she just sat back and let it happen. I don't want Aaravos to be redeemed. But I do want him to get revenge. Have him deal with those Star Touched monsters before he pays for his own crimes. And make sure it HURTS!

What's everyone's theories on why "Sol Regem" roars at Aaravos upon being called his true or original name? Why wouldn't he like being called his own true name? A bitter reminder of what once was perhaps?
It’s too familiar. Sol Regem is his title. He is the Sun King and expects to be regarded as such, especially by “lesser” beings, such as elves and humans. He is not just a dragon, not just a king, but a dragon king, putting himself above all others. Now here he is, being mocked and chastised by a mere elf, an untitled elf at that. And that elf dares to further the insult by calling him by his name as if they were equals. It all comes down to pride and arrogance. At least that’s my interpretation.
@@aacsmiles Ahh, that does make some sense. We know for sure he looks down on humans, but did he really also look down on Elves? Fellow magical/Xadian people? And surely he knows Aaravos was "one of the great ones" which makes him above regular elves. But you're probably right, it was his pride and arrogance at being called that name.
@@caseycox146 objectively yes, Aaravos does have more credentials than the average elf, but in the eyes of someone as arrogant as Sol Regem, Aaravos is still beneath him.
Anak Arow was his “younger name”, while he was the prince. I take it that Aaravos calling him that instead of “Sol Regem” is sort of an indirect way of calling him “little boy”. It’s like calling someone their childhood nickname but in an insulting manner, and reminding Sol Regem that Aaravos is the only being in Xadia old enough to remember him as a prince. Basically saying “I knew you as a child before everyone else started calling you the Sun King”. It’s also like calling a distinguished official by their childhood nickname rather than “doctor or president” or something like that, basically belittling their reputation and refusing to call them by their official title. And also the idea that Sol looked down on Aaravos is ironic considering Aaravos is far more powerful than Sol Regem could ever hope to be🤣
I wish the names were easier for the dragons, but I do see now that Aarovos really enjoyed his revenge on Sol Regem because that second name means he's the reason Leola is dead he saw her and reported a child for a crime she had no idea was as much as I feel bad for the sun king he shouldn't have been so ignorant
Aaravos is evil but GOD did Sol deserve everything that he had coming to him. Caused the death of Leola and killed many innocent humans and elves from just being angry. Aaravos's gloating and relishing in his dying state is justified.
nothing of value was lost. Honestly for what he was and what he would of done Centuries ago to a town of 100000 Humans all because one human knew Dark magic is kinda dumb. good riddance

Or Short Stories.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Aaravos poisoned the body 😰😰😰😰
Nah he ate a sunfire elf and they are imune to fire so he chocked
@@ifyoureadthisyouaregey8821 unless the body was already dead and was only moving because of magic
@@tomnorton4277 And then the Merciful one came around and said "thoughts and prayers"
Incidentally, that was humanity's first city, Elarion, and Aaravos has a lot to do with its formation and the survival of a few of its residents, and thus the future of humanity itself (from the Midnight Star poem on the website...in much need of updating...).
Didn't saw that coming
sol regem did what he thought he had to do and aaravos badly hurt from this. now aravos turned into a broken villain.
sometimes our enemy is the life itself and we call it fate. it is the fate that pitting sol regem and aravos against each other.
R.İ.P. sol regem. Despite everything you've done, you never wavered from what you knew until the last moment.
What's everyone's theories on why "Sol Regem" roars at Aaravos upon being called his true or original name? Why wouldn't he like being called his own true name? A bitter reminder of what once was perhaps?
He must have changed his name after something bad he did and hearing it to him links him to that nightmare
Aaravos: "it appears in your anger you killed her..."
Sol: "I, this cannot be...
She was alive i felt it!!!"
Noooooooooooooooooo!!!!
only death I laughed at lol
Aaravos is evil but GOD did Sol deserve everything that he had coming to him. Caused the death of Leola and killed many innocent humans and elves from just being angry. Aaravos's gloating and relishing in his dying state is justified.
One good thing Aaravos had done.l
I know that language. I don't speak it. But I understand it well enough to know that Aaravos just called Sol Regem Sun Child.
Sol Reagan died as he lived. In anger and arrogance.
To be fair the dragon had it coming and deserved worse I call that a mercy if anything
Yeah and then most of all a rat
nothing of value was lost. Honestly for what he was and what he would of done Centuries ago to a town of 100000 Humans all because one human knew Dark magic is kinda dumb. good riddance
What he could of done: "Give up the practice of dark magic and I'll personally see to helping humans gain their footing, maybe even teach you and anyone willing Primal magic"
What he did: "Drop the staff and never even consider dark magic again or I'll bloody murder that entire town for you to watch"
Finally get his ass up out of here 😂
I guess he blamed the humans for his wife’s death
It makes me wonder if there is venom in inside the bite of sir sparkle puff that can take down a dragon.
Suck it dragon boy! (Gives Aaravos a high four)
Aaravos: The dragon is withered.
(…)
Tra-la-la-lally!
I know Sol Ragon isn’t exactly the most beloved dragon but you can’t help but feel sorry for him🥺
he may have done some terrible things, but after this season, its a little more understandable how he is the way he is now.
@@michaelfriedman1666 bro his actions literally caused every problem
