Here in Brazil I always hear stories by local people of different places regarding this book. Some cops pissed off because a thief would disappear or make weird things happen while in possession of this book is the first story I remember

@@NetherworldBibliotek I’ve had , very recently, similar experiences with all the titles I’ve purchased from Hadean Press as well as Scarlet Imprint. It’s very stimulating from a mystics position. Most likely just irritating from a reviewers.

I'm curious if it's possible to perform any of the spells in The Book of St. Cyprian using an inanimate substitute for a black cat (like a picture, figurine or stuffed toy) ?
Also, the procedures for exorcism that are given in the book can be performed by a layperson? are they spoken in Latin or Portuguese/English ?

Hello and sorry for my delayed reply. The version of the book I have is 100% translated into English. It was translated from Portuguese which I assume was the original language but I am not sure.
I'm not an expert in exorcism but my understanding is that some religions believe in it an some don't. I assume that every religion has its own rules about who can perform the exorcism. I'm not knowledgeable enough to give any advice.
I think substitution is a great idea but I don't know how it would work for some of the spells. For example, once spells requires that you boil a cat and put its bones in your mouth.
St Cyprian's spell worked. After all, he got the girl.

Actually it was in Latin first and then translated into other languages like Spanish, French, Portuguese etc

Oh Witchcraft is definitely allowed in Christianity. They just call it "the power of Gawd!" But it's still sorcery. In fact even in the Middle Ages the Catholic Church had Christian Mages that performed sorceries for monarches the church supported.

I have heard a lot of bad things about st. Cyprian book! I'm not sure if this one you have is just about his life, but the one with rituals seems to make the people that read see bad diabolical things. I'm from Brazil and this book is a no no over here.
Hello, The author says this book has a bad reputation in Portugal is well. Yes, this one contains a lot of rituals. I've owned it for a few months and nothing bad has happened to me but I don't practice any of the rituals it talks about.
I am Portuguese and here people say that if you read (ao contrário) can't remember the English word you will summon a demon

There is something about this book and the reviews... I have both books in my Amazon cart but i'd like to read reviews on both translations (Humberto Maggi and Jose Leitao's) so that I know which translation to buy. Right off the bat i have some reservations with Leitao's translation because he admittedly omitted from the text those things that were "too evil" in his opinion therefore forcefully making his readers have to accept his religiuos dogmatic beliefs. I just don't believe it's fair to the reader. That brings me to Maggi's translation... There are no reviews whatsoever on this book. It is imperative for anyone that has read both to clarify this. Are both translations of the same book or different? Has Maggi faithfully translated the whole text or like Leitao, has he picked and chosen what to give to his readers and what to withhold?.... Definitely food for thought....
Hello, I can't find the Humberto Maggi version in the Netherworld Bibliotek so I can't make this comparison, unfortunately.
Im from Brazil and my grandfather has this book. His life, although wealthy was followed by a lot of tragedies, one that took my mom life. I would not recommend for this book to be used by any person.

You know, I've wondered about this after reading about Joseph in the Old testament and his prophetic dreams. It seems to be banned unless God bestowed the power upon you.
Before you read this book read a book like The Picatrx or a similar book that will Explain what these heinous and ridiculous things they represent.

@@NetherworldBibliotek I imagine people would like a base foundation in order to somewhat grasp how magick might actually work in real life which involves the consciousness being directly related to the rule-sets of quantum physics ,as everything is a holographic thought-form/dream construct, apart from how such ideas have been handed down to us in unintelligible ways. There is an excellent book by an author ,named Kirby Surprise, called (SYNCHRONICITY). You won’t be disappointed after reading it. You will LOVE reading it when it gets to the techniques. Then I want you to give your review because you will be shifting from theory into direct repeatable experiences.
