When drying, I don’t like to even use a microfiber, I prefer to use a dedicated blow dryer. It helps dry in areas where you can’t reach with a towel also. The last times you touch the paint the better it is. I use Adam’s products and they perform well and tend to be easy to use.

Yep I am an Adams fan as well. I like a true drying town as we have so much minerals in our water. But for sure especially on a motorcycle the powered dryer works well, just avoid control switches and the intake!

I appreciate your video. Do you have a video on removing the outer fairing?

Hey Tom, I'm a big believer ceramic coating...cars, boats, motorcycles, etc. When I get my new CVO, I will definitely do this. I've chatted with you a couple times on your videos which once again, I really appreciate, so thanks for making them. I'm still trying to be patient and wait for the new 24 CVO color announcement....hopefully in January? The more I see and look at the 23 colors, the more I like them, but I'm still hoping for a darker solid color for 24.

It looks like the new bikes will be announced on January 24. From the few carry over models already showing up in dealers we are seeing darker colors. The new pearl white is a winner. My dealer has a Dark Platinum CVO RG that has been sitting for a bit. I bet we will still have '23 CVO's available on the 24th so might be a good time to score better pricing. I am really happy with the Adams coating thus far and it does go on sale. Appreciate your support of the channel!

We want to see you go back and coat the transmission cover and the VVT cam cover. Those parts don’t get super hot. And if something goes wrong and the covers were to get too hot, then you could do another video demonstrating how to remove the coating and restore the stock finish.

The Adams coating notes that it is flammable. They do offer an upgraded version of the coating that is not and supposedly supports higher temps. I don't see too many dead bugs on my motor covers but something for the front exhaust shield would be nice. Surface correction is an art and truly amazing what can be accomplished with the modern compound options.

Excellent video and beautiful bike!.. love that black chrome! how do you like the way 23' Road glide handles and performs? how do you the all digital dash?

Hello! The best part of these new bikes is the stock handling. The suspension, weight loss, fairing design as far as airflow has made the experience completely different from the current models. The digital gauges have worked really well, no issues seeing them but the infotainment is frankly been a pain in the ass. Very frustrating to use.

The final rinse of a washed vehicle might be done with deionized water, too. It's so pure of contaminants and minerals that it literally cannot waterspot. A waterspot is the minerals left behind when the water itself evaporates. So no need to manually dry if you have a way to generate deionized water.

You are correct! I use an RV Water filter from Walmart on my spigot as a cheap option to help. #1 best option is to always wash and dry out of the sun! The hope is the coating will help overall especially when on the road.

Great info man, thank you. Just wondering what the advantage of coating is over say... a clear wrap for example ?
Ride safe from Sydney Australia 👍

Wraps add a surface but yet still a surface you have to clean. Many find a need coat the wrap to get the cleaning advantage. If you really want to preserve a painted surface a Paint Protection Film is the way to go but in my case I am looking more for ease of maintenance. Really appreciate all of the support from down under on the channel!

A wrap is the best way to protect a painted surface. The new tech in wraps allow for amazing looking results, with self healing technology. As well...with the right product, you can coat a wrap. It would be the ultimate protection.

I am really enjoying the coating, so much easier to get the bug guts off! So wether you DYI or have it done, I recommend!

I hope next year HD offers better CVO colors instead of that nasty ass silver.

I do agree, the color choices in general this year were a miss for me. Lighter tones are not great Harley colors. Would much rather have seen a darker color or even just vivid black!
