    This is one of "my" webcams, it's one I check pretty regularly and have for years, I've even got a link to it on my website. Thanks for posting this, a time laps from that cam, especially on the solstice, is pretty cool!
    One day I hope to be on that cam, along with my Studebaker pickup, after driving up there from North Carolina!

    I spent some time in Fairbanks and that's one thing that drove me nuts. It was like it was always 5pm in the afternoon all day long. Really wierd.

    I've always wondered how the the daylight progressed during the summer in Alaska...now I at least have an idea! I still want to experience 2 AM sunlight for myself some day though, haha!
    This was fascinating to watch - thanks for sharing!

      oh yeah that`s the main reason I`m fascinated with Alaska! no darkness at night in the Summer!

    I would love to visit the midnight Sun!!!!!!!!! Lord willing someday I will! Anyone ever heard the song the Gospel song No More Night? That must be what they’re singing every time Summer rolls around! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

    Even though it looks like the sun never sets, it actually does but not for very long. There is enough ambient light (twilight) to read a book.

      They use special curtains/blinds that would make it very dark inside
