Ah, one of, if not THE most iconic rides in the entire park. It may just have a very simple layout, but it's got a soft spot in the hearts of visitors, and received a very major overhaul over the past few years.
Yes, it's extremely smooth. The loops were surprisingly forceful as well. We were pinned into our seats sitting up the front 😁
@@XtremeCoasters It's been the first rollercoaster experience for many people in this country since it began operating in 1981. That overhaul was well-deserved, such an icon must be preserved.
@@wilcovanwinden6581 It's a shame other parks didn't give their classics the same sort of love and attention. We've lost so many classics over the past 10-15 years.
Great 4K POV as always
Thank you 😊
@@XtremeCoasters you’re welcome
Great video
Thank you, thanks for watching 🙂
Very cool. 😎
It was, and extremely smooth 🙂
Il est tellement bien comme coaster que ça passe trop vite ...
Il paraît long et court en même temps
J'ai vraiment apprécié celui-ci. C'était très doux et aussi très intense :)
Not sure if it was the plan, but I like how the track either looks like a snake skeletal system or the skin after it's been shed. 🤷♀️😊
Think it's based as close as it could be to the original Vekoma track. But you have a good point 🙂
@@XtremeCoasters if I was a designer I'd definitely create everything to match the theme.
@@saraparnell72 Yes, agree.
Gouderix @ Parc Asterix needs the same retrack.
Yes, agree. Some new trains with vest restraints would also make all the difference on Gouderix.
That lift hill is certainly not setting any speed records... Ride looks fun, however. I wish parks in America would do something like this to actually make some of the Arrow loopers really enjoyable.
The lift hill was extremely slow. We don't usually edit the lift hill out of a video, but it took nearly 2 minutes to reach the top 😂 Yes, it just goes to show how great these classics can be with a bit of investment.
Did a short search. They spent 4,5 million euros on the rebuild. I don't ride coasters myself but i love watching these videos, and comparing it to other Arrows it runs very smooth, especially the transitions from banked to unbanked are well done.
@@wilcovanwinden6581 Thank you for watching 🙂 The transitions are perfect. No getting thrown into the side of the train, or head rattling. They've made such a good job of refurbishing it.
Looks the same layout as the looping coaster in Circus Circus in Las Vegas.
@@anvilcatcher213 That's a very good point, I hadn't made the connection. But yes, they seem to be near identical :)
Second
Indeed 🙂
