Thank you soooo much for your video! It really helped me out! Im actually trying to do the same set up as you are. V8 FC so gonna be checking out your entire channel once i have the time to! Good luck with your build
Byron Velasquez that’s awesome I’m glad it was helpful. If you have any issues with the swap let me know because I’ve torn this car all the way down and put it back together. I’m pretty familiar with a lot of the little problems with these cars when you swap em.
Cool video man! I cut and re-welded my steering arms on the stock spindles. Worked well enough but my wheels rub the sway bar before I hit full lock. Hope you channel takes off soon!
Thanks we really appreciate that! Yeah, I have seen a lot of guys that run those. I just wasn't confident in my welding ability just yet lol. Just recently I took off my front sway bar and it made a huge difference. We no longer rub up in the front, might be worth a try.
Ya I worked at a hotrod shop so I had a tig welder do mine. And I ran without a sway bar for a while and the car doesn't turn in worth a crap so I decided to live with less angle and have a better car for the street.
Oh nice, I wanted to learn how to tig weld soon. Hopefully, in the next couple months, I will be able to pick up a used one and start practicing on that. Yeah, it's probably not the best on the street that's for sure. Mine doesn't really see the street all that often anymore.
I did install them, it’s basically a washer that goes inbetween the inner tie rod and the steering rack. I can’t really tell if it did much, but on the rx7 any bit of angle helps.
@@TheDailyDrift thanks a lot for getting back to me! I think your might have been the older version, the one I have has thread on tie rods spacer about 2" long (they say they give 15mm extra steering motion each direction).
WrenchTwistinWithJoe welcome to the club! The biggest I put up front without spacers was a 245 and it rubbed pretty bad. I’m running 235’s without spacers and they do ok I only rub if I’m really throwing it hard. 225’s would probably be ideal.
Thank god theres SOME fc build channels out there.

If its nice out im driving my car. Love the looks I get when people hear the v8 coming from such a small car!
Amen to that!
Hello there,
did you also install the PBM steering rack spacers as well, or just the lower arms and knuckles?
Thanks a lot in advance!
