Please make a video with bike on center stand, then put bike running in 2,3rd gear..Noise is heard more in up gears speed around 30-40

Looks like the tolerances are bit off on either the chain rollers or the sprockets. Lube does not eliminate the chattering sound from the drive sprocket.
Yes chain need to be adjusted perfectly in terms of slack and marking on both the sides of swing arm to make it running smoothly
I purchased tvs ronin ds last month. 2 weeks after riding, back wheel there was some noise as if something is stuck. when checked with the tvs service person, he said its common sound with disc brakes. Now after using for a month, that sound is not there. Any Ronin users faced this problem?
Also me being 5'.7", when riding the bike, I am not able to position the mirror exactly for the required view. Some how got it adjusted with the service person, but the mirror is in a diagonal position for best view. (vertical or horizontal does not give me good view)
Another thing is about the shock absorber, I feel the shocks are not so soft. Is there any adjustment that needs to be done? My 10yr old daughter, when on the pillion feels there is lot of vibration.
You can approach the service center and check if the tension of the rear shock absorber can be adjusted. This should be possible.
I own a DS version. When I lubed the chain last time, I noticed that it is not an 'O' Ring chain. Can you check again if yours is 'O' ring chain ? If it is, then this is another difference between other versions and TD.
Did you open the chain link to confirm this .
Interesting to know.. Generally brands won't do something like this within same bike

I've lubed and also given it to the service center and cleaned it under high pressure air pump and lubed it. But still the loud noise. The solution I found is wearing helmet is muting the noise and I ignore how the bike sounds for others near me. Not the best but the only solution I have so far since the service center told me that it is natural and live with it
Not really, please get it checked by TVS, once chain is adjusted, cleaned and lubed it has to be running smoothly
@@motovin77 I probably need to get it done by some other service center since my dealer one is convincing me that this is common chain drive noise.
@@rajkamalfriends2 Firstly get the chain fully cleaned including the front sprocket and then adjust it properly and lube, i am sure it will run smoother
@@motovin77 Okay, that is where the sound comes from. May be some mud or something. I'll take it to my local mechanic if I can't remove it myself.
Same problem with me , tvs service centre is also convincing me that it is natural sound .
I planning to take this bike. Is there any problem with tvs bikes like engine reliable issues many of my friends saying this. I want to whether it's true or not.. And also about these problems like u faced issue with abs oil leakage issue and all.. And I am buying my first bike and wanted to ride it for more than 5 years. Need a long term quality.
Bro oil leakage is a problem and not an issue and easily be solved
Not all tvs Engine has problems
And not all re engine is perfect
So need to compare on particular model
Here in ronin defenately they will give high preference to this bike and i can say easily that fit and finish is better than hunter and engine also good for long term use

Sir I have done my first service and the temperature I recorded everyday I generally ride through moderate traffic and the temperature was 124 degree so is it ok or it should be less
Sir, if you are getting any high temp alert on the dashboard or any degradation in engine performance / switching off etc . In those cases please visit the service center.

After doing such an wonderful job, still kar kar sound is coming in the end. I also own ronin,but this chain sound is really frustrating. It starts when you ride your bike in 3 rd or 4th gear.
I too experienced sounds after running 800 km but after cleaning and lubing it's running smoothly
@@motovin77 By removing the chain cover can we put our hand inside to lube the front sprocket? Noise is coming from the front socket area.
Also tell the size of allen key.
@@motovin77 bro new bike alrdy got lubricated....this issue is common in every Ronin owner..i too experienced the same sound..
I got noise from front chain sprocket.. I've given to service center its just 300km ran so they're replacing all the parts n testing.. r&d team also going to visit soon.. I've kept my vehicle at service center only.. hope ill get my vehicle back tomorrow or day after tomorrow

I have no issue with ronin after complete cleaning of chain
Why not remove the chain cover permanently? Does it have any use? Removing it every 500-600km is a extra job.
It took less than 60 seconds to remove the chain cover or fit it back...
But chain cover will reduce the huge amount of dust any chain usually attracts and in lot run will prolong life of chain

Chain cleaner or kerosene or WD40 you can use to clean the chain before lubing
