Mike Andrews Hey Mike, i wanted to write to you because I saw a comment that I believe was from you on a separate MLK video where you wrote about how you love all men regardless of color because that is what love is and what God really wants us to do. I wanted to tell you that your views of love, peace and faith enshrine how all people should act. Regardless of any of your family history, none of that is representative of you. I hope that you have much peace, love and happiness in your life and that you fully know that you represent what is good in our world today. Thank you for your loving comments to MLK. Much love and many Blessing to you and yours.

He seems like a person who would be easy to set up as a patsy, and then fool into pleading guilty so that the weakness of the evidence against him never got scrutinized. He's obviously not very well educated...he keeps mispronouncing words....also, he doesn't really come across as someone who would get all excited about a public figure...and if his lawyer really made that comment about wanting the credit then it was a terrible breach of professional ethics.

The blinking is a sign of lying or of not willing to tell the truth. I believe he's frightened because if he tells the truth as to the ones responsible he knows he's a dead man. Better to live out his life in prison, I guess...

Maybe there's more to this interview than contained here, but I'd be interested in knowing more about what Ray was doing before and immediately after the shooting and at what point did he decided to flee Memphis.
I know he was on the lamb when the shooting occurred having "broken" out of prison in 1967 by hiding in a truck transporting bread from the prison bakery, so I'm assuming once he either saw or heard all the police activity following the shooting he decided to leave town and head north.
Maybe there's another more detailed interview out there I can check out if I search hard enough.

He was an escaped convict leading up to the assassination, he escaped prison from a petty crime in 1967…. then he was in mexico up to 4 months before (as a fake porno director), then was in LA a month before, then to ATL in late march, to alabama then to memphis where the killing took place on April 4th
A bunch of red flags if u ask me…. Something has always been very strange about this case
