TIP- after fishing in the sound during winter hard to rinse outside in freezing temps. Just wear them in the shower and the hang to dry in the shower- drip dry- then put back in garage after a day
Great tip! Thank you!
Yes, yes, yes, sir, this Is part of fishing too.🤗🤗🤗👍👍👍 Fish on.🤠🤠🤠
Thank you for sharing this Dan.🐟🐟🐟
My pleasure!
Thanks Dan. I have used my Dryft Convertible waders 2x in the Sacramento River and I love them. They are hanging in my studio and I intend to follow your advice (always a good idea!).
Nice Dave - glad to hear you like the Dryft waders, that's awesome!
Living in a fairly dry climate, I never see any mold on my waders. Lucky! Each time I get home, I wash them off with clean water and some dawn detergent. Works pretty well. I will say the stripes (decoration) on my Drift waders are peeling off. Not sure if that's my doing, or they're just not stuck on well. No biggy, but it's a weird thing to see.
I’m sorry to hear that Rosie, I’ll have to check out why that might be happening.
I went out in the garage and got my waders after watching this, there cheap frogg togg but they don't leak and are fairly comfortable. Luckily I didn't see any mold or mildew. Thanks for the tip Dan
My pleasure! If you garage is heated and they are hanging, they will be okay stored there. If it's not insulated/heated then definitely keep them inside. Cheers!
Great information..Thanks a lot! Fish On! 👍🎣
No problem 👍
Thanks for the excellent tip, FFD ! I clicked out of sheer fear that I was shortening the life of my waders; luckily I am not (I think...). I did get confused partway through. Waders with zippers, and Yeti coolers; who's that rich?! 😂 Seriously, another great video and ☮ from Idaho where we ran out of trout last year 🙃
Thanks Al - zippers are a wonderful thing (on waders anyway...) Hopefully the fish in Idaho will return one day...:D
Ummmm I’m headed out to my fishing room to check on my expensive waders. Pretty sure they aren’t hung up! 😬
A good reminder for sure :))
