  • Come along with us for an overnight tent camping adventure in the stunning Cochise Stronghold of the Dragoon Mountains, Arizona!
    ----
In this video, we set up camp in this remote and picturesque location, surrounded by towering rock formations and the peaceful sounds of nature.
We'll also take you on a hike through the rugged terrain, exploring the ancient rock formations and learning about the history of the area.
This trip out to the campsite introduces some new camping gadgets: a vintage Coleman 425E white gas stove, and a Coleman 220F white gas lantern - both revived and running as great as ever. And of course, to break in the "new" stove, we feature 3 healthy, easy and delicious camping meals: Italian sausage with peppers/onions, honey lemon garlic chicken and green beans with potatoes, and a hearty scrambled egg, home fries and bacon breakfast (complete with french press coffee, of course.)
The Cochise Stronghold, located in the Dragoon Mountains of Arizona, is named after the famous Apache leader, Cochise, who used the area as a refuge during the Apache Wars in the 19th century. Cochise and his followers, known as the Chiricahua Apaches, sought the rugged terrain and natural defenses of the Stronghold to resist the encroachment of settlers and the US Army.
The area's history dates back even further, as it was also used by earlier Native American tribes, including the Hohokam and the Mogollon, who left behind evidence of their presence in the form of rock art and other archaeological sites.
Whether you're an experienced camper looking for a new adventure or just someone who loves to explore the great outdoors, we hope this video inspires you to pack up your tent and head out into the wild.
