Platini era muy completo,pero su precisión en el pase(de cualquier clase:filtrado por arriba y abajo,pase libre,corto a media distancia etc)estaba en otro nivel.
Era un segundo punta excepcional, al mismo nivel de lo que fue Ronaldinho veinte años más tarde, aunque Platini era un as en el pase y Dinho un fuera de serie en el regate. Por encima de esos dos, como segundas puntas, sólo han estado Pelé y Messi

No, se confunde mucha gente con el dorsal. Llevaba el diez pero era más delantero que centrocampista. Igual que Zico, que también era un segundo delantero. Pero tenían una calidad tan grande que les gustaba retrasarse a veces, aunque donde hacían daño de verdad era en el area y en las inmediaciones. Segundos delanteros fueron Pelé, Messi, Zico, Platini, Ronaldinho, Raul, Totti, Baggio, Del Piero… Dieces puros, enganches o trecuartistas fueron Di Stefano, Cruyff, Maradona, Laudrup, Zidane, Iniesta o Bellingham en la actualidad. Platini era más delantero que centrocampista, u segundo punta. Saludos
@@carlossimancas9867 Ya entiendo,zico si entiendo que era más delantero por qué siempre los centros le caían a él o la mayoría de veces.
Por eso digo que Maradona era un gran goleador,hizo 345 siendo enganche y no Segunda punta y jugando con compañeros no tan buenos.
Pero es que para meter tantos goles como enganche hay que ser un genio, un Maradona. O un Di Stefano, que metió muchos más goles que Diego y también era enganche. Lo normal en un gran trescuartista es que meta 15 o 20 goles en una liga, no más. Pero con un Cruyff, un Maradona o un Di Stefano esas cifras van a los 25 o 30 goles. Son genios

Yep, the two best players of the 80’s and they weren’t just about scoring goals, they had as many assists, they were the ultimate playmakers (like Modric today) and they were always back in their own penalty box defending, breaking up play and creating transitions before it became the buzz word in world football commentary.

He could not dribble two, three or even for rivals in the same run as Cruyff used to do many times between 1968 and 1974, but yes, Platini was a fantastic player

Cruyff had much more sprint speed and stamina than Michel Platini ... but both are the masters of passing ability in my view ...

yes I agree with you man .. about Cruyff and Messi being slightly better than Michel PLatini at overall skills .... but i saw Michel Platini dribbling much more than twice in so many many games .... vs Bulgaria ... vs Ireland ...vs Holland ... vs West Germany in 1977 i guess...
Yeah, agree. I’ve always differenced between Kings (Di Stefano, Pelé, Cruyff, Maradona, Ronaldo Nazario, Messi) and princes (Platini, Puskas, Garrincha, Eusebio, Zidane…and maybe 20 or 25 more)
