Simple Exercise to practice mindfulness

- Take 5 minutes out of your day to relax and focus on a mindful drawing activity.
Mindful art and drawing can give you a deeper experience and a heightened sense of well-being.
Mindfulness is the practice of purposely focusing your attention on the present moment-and accepting it without judgment.
In this activity, I have shared a very simple and basic drawing exercise that you can use to start your mindfulness journey. You just need a sheet of paper and a pen. I hope it helps you.
Drawing the rhythm of your breathing.
• Relax.
• Breathe slowly.
• Shift the focus to your breathing pattern.
• Inhale slowly and exhale.
• Now, as you breathe in, slowly move your pen up to the top of the paper drawing a line and while you begin to breathe out, bring it down again to the bottom side of your page.
• Continue this for a few seconds, drawing these zigzag lines, while focusing on your breathing.
