I did everything with my plasma cutter as well by hand using a pantograph attachment. What I did with the hex shaft was to instead use a threaded rod and a bunch of rod couplers screwed into the rod. Then all i had to do is insert a tube to cover the threads on the ends...done! No machining needed.
I'm interested in this idea of your threaded rod with the rod couplers. Were the ends of the rod smooth or how did you couple the threaded ends to your motor shaft? Any pictures or video links would be appreciated. Thanks
Genius! So well spoken without too much chatter lol you really held my interest and showed off your Creation perfectly. I want one of these to start up a recycling outlet and to encourage people to start doing this. The plastic issue is way out of control. Thank you for caring and sharing. A+ 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

ok, how would I get a hold of you to buy one of thease machines ? I don't have access to all the tools you have to build one. I am looking into shredding the plastics i have left over when I am scrapping items, I hate the fact that they are currently going into the land fill and would like to start using the plastics to build other items that I may sell. Thank you Dean
Smiling big. I have always wanted a shredder!! Don't know to make one yet. But i have to make one to 220/240 Volt :-D But can also make one with 260. Maybe it only be 220/240!!
The Precious Plastic guy's mentioned that the shredder had a tendency to have problems with the screen if you try to run in one pass. They recommended running it with the screen off then doing a second pass with the screen on. It might be worth a shot if you haven't tried that already.
nice build! may i ask if the parts cut by the cnc plasma is not tapered? i am planning to build one..but i am not sure what is the better method of cutting parts using cnc considering the price..is it plasma?waterjet?laser? if cnc plasma works just fine, then i would go for plasma..many thanks!!! more power!!
absolutly tough, great skills and...machine tools and craft-really helps with industrial design I am in Mexico and will like to get in touch-great job-Where are you at?

You should make plenty of these shredders and sell them so that people can recycle plastics. Well done guys.
Ths is awesome. I WISH I could build one for myself, I'll keep looking for a way to do this at home!
he gave me the idea to just use 3d printing for bearings and spacers, gears and old mower blades or edging blades for cutting. probably cut to shape.
I love your machine!!

Do you think something like this would be able to shred fibre glass?
I'm looking into a way to create a shredded plastic and concrete mortar mix to create artificial reefs .Is that something you could experiment with?
I wish I had one of those "maker space" places near me.

Where I can get all the parts already cut?

They mentioned it on their video of the "Shredder Pro", their second gen. Shredder with twin comminutors.

I'm interested what is the full price
Hi
I need a large one for my workshop
Can anyone help me for design it🙇♂️
Con tu video me doy cuenta que claramente con un eje no es suficiente, es mejor con dos ejes
No, the design of the cutter assembly is not that great. I see why it could jam. It was good to pick up some ideas but I would greatly improve it.
Will you build me one
Muito bom.
Someone should sell these on eBay.
They do. Also on the official "Precious Plastic Bazar"
I'm sorry, it sounded like you said you have $600 and two months wrapped up into that thing.
Yeah, lost me with the T-shirt
So you're saying you stopped watching after seeing the RESIST T-Shirt? Just curious...

You really didn't show how you build anything...
Out of biz do not go to their site.

That is a horrible design.
