Well done X. Excellent job. He has a lot to tell his lady love at the end of the day. Please stay safe our beloved feathered friends. ❤ Thanks SKH for sharing. Great video❤
Love how the males dispatch wandering females while being aware that they're a bit smaller. Xavier's dive-bombing strategy was perfect: effective and no birds damaged in the process. Also loved how chatty he was when Diamond showed up: he had stories to tell. (I was glad she didn't show up sooner and engage. These birds have such hard lives, and I feel sorry for the adults who still haven't found a mate and nest site.) Thank you, SKH, for another great video and commentary!
Falcon Drama 🤯 indeed! This is a beautiful young female 💗 but so glad that Xavier 💙was able to scare her off without injuring himself or her! She was persistent 🌬 Wonderful to see and hear Diamond and Xavier bonding in their home 🏡💞
I can’t blame the intruder- it’s a lovely home! I’m so happy everything worked out! Thank you for reminding me to breathe SKH! 😉! I was so relieved and happy seeing Diamond and Xavier bonding!! Beautiful! Thank you SKH!! ❤️
That was quite a skirmish between Xavier and the intruder. I'm glad Xavier held his ground and was able to get some bonding time with Diamond. Well done Xavier! 🥰❤️🐦
Seems like most raptors are "intruders" at some point(s) in their lives. (And this behavior is not confined to raptors.) Sometimes they get lucky, sometimes they don't. Can't blame the youngster for trying...
@@skhideaways No, that was Garrama with the spine issue this year. I think Barru was last year (?) and he was not seen again a few days after he fledged, if I remember correctly.

What a dramatic and emotional twist!!! Thank goodness there was a happy ending...Thanks SK for your gripping and funny story (as always...)
@Sandra-rx6xb- well saud my friend! I was seriously on the “ edge of my seat” Enjoy the birds and have a great day! 😊🦅

Good job defending the nest, X. Let's hope the intruder won't be back.
They're a strong wonderful pair. They won't be giving up their "mansion" anytime soon!

Is Barru coming back?
I’m so sorry, but Barru was found to have a severe problem with his spine and was euthanized several days after he fledged.
What a pity😨 Thx for your information.🙏

Of course…. Ack, so sorry for the confusion. Thanks for keeping me honest, @attitune!
@@attitune Yup. Barru fledged in November 2023. I have not heard from it since then. I know that one falcon was euthanised this yr 2024.
Could it be Marri? 🤔
