@@fishonalbertaoutdoors9761 whatever it came with from the factory. 4 blade aluminium. If really critical I will look at the spare and give you exact size.
I was at about 40mph to 41mph there. Prop is an aluminum 3 blade 13.25 x 17. I'm thinking we might re prop to a 13.25 x 18 or 19 stainless steel and it will be just right. We plan on pulling a 3 man tube so we got a lower pitch prop to start.
The Lund Adventure is a much smaller and skinner boat correct? I like the Competitor but it has zero warranty on a single rivet failure, only double riveted seams are covered.
Not smaller is just skinnier and and longer. Alot lighter too. The whole bottom of the Alumicraft is twice as thick. (2XB) Lunds comparable impact XS was about 7 to 8000 more than the better optioned FSX. Lund make an awesome boat just feel you definately pay extra for it up front and probably see a bit more for resale if you ever chose to sell. Just loved Alumacraft's history and style of console seats and options for what I wanted more. All the Lunds that I had an option to get aswell the dealers wouldn't let making it with everyrhing I wanted it was you get what it came with kinda deal whereas I was able to build the Alumacraft exactly as I wanted all at a better price. What boat do you fish from? I was very close to buying a 1750 superhawk aswell fully welded with no rivets. As you know I'm sure they're built by Brunswick same company as Lund. Tough decisions forsure them all sooo nice.
@@fishonalbertaoutdoors9761 I’ve owned 5 boats…aluminum bass boats, fiberglass center console and fiberglass bass boats. I’m in the market for a deep V but the prices for Lund, Crestliner, Ranger and Alumacraft for an 18ft are close to $50k. I saw a 18ft Fishhawk fully loaded for $80k! That is just crazy. The best boat I could find is the Triton 186 Allure which is a fiberglass deep V, boarding steps, hydraulic steering, etc…all standard for $48k. A Lund 1875 is $53k for comparison. Crestliner is close to $50K as well.
@@jayb7675 yup all are alot but I found Lund and Crestliner 7 to 10000 more for very similar Alumacraft. The Starcraft delta 178 was 62000 canadian without changing anything but it was very nice almost fell for it but it was a tad too long for my garage. I really liked everything about the fishhaek but wanted deeper superhawk.
@@jayb7675 The triton would be nice but didn't want the heavier fiberglass boat. I wanted Aluminum and thickest aluminum without going to a jet boat lol. Couldn't afford the fuel and not very comfy for kids and wife😁
@@fishonalbertaoutdoors9761 I like Alumacraft but when I reached out about the warranty they do not cover single row rivets. Only the main seam rivets. Even Lund only covers them for the first 3 years. If one ever leaks, you have to take the deck off, cut through the flotation foam, and repair the rivet from inside the hull. Very expensive…IF you ever get a rivet leak.
yes sir!!! They are a nice setup. I like the back seats that fold up.
Yup definatnice when the kids are in the boat. And when they're in front it's a decent casting deck
got the same lund, got it to 72 kmh(GPS)with 2ppl and at least half a tank of fuel.
What prop are you running?

I wouldn’t mind knowing, I have a 115 vmax on a tracker 175 pro guide deep hull and I get 35mph max
Mines a 13.25 x 17 pitch for pulling kids on tube. Wouldn't mind an 18 or 19 but 17 is good when there's 3 people or 2 big people on tube😁
41 mph max 4 people with full tank of gas 30 gallons
Is that the 175 or 185 competitor?
175 Competitor FSX
What pitch on the Alumacraft?
17 pitch 3 blade 4 blade on the lund
what did you get for speed

Nice ride! Only a bit stupid to where no lifesavingvests at that speed. Especialy when there is a little kid involved. 😢
🤣thanks for the kind words of advice?
