Heroine spelled that way has nothing to do with dr*gs. It's the female version of a hero. Can't imagine youtube doesn't know the difference between homonyms.
I was a little kid in the 90s so too young to be part of grunge culture but knowing older relatives, family friends and babysitters who were and most of them wore lipstick and/or lipliner and black eye liner and mascara and that was it really or nothing. Some wore kind of "lived in" eye makeup, smudgy liner and a little bit of a shadow. Grunge makeup really wasnt much or that complicated, most in the grunge scene were broke and college age. I dont mind the palette name, a grunge look now doesnt need to be accurate to grunge looks of the 90s, thats not how we wear/do make up now.
You’re correct! I was a teen in the 90’s and I was epitome of grunge. I actually wore a maybelline brown brow pencil as a lip liner/lipstick bc the color was perfect and cool toned. I also wore just smeared black eyeliner and mascara. Basically it.
You nailed it ! I'm from that era but I do still like this for a vampy glam look. But not this wasn't exactly what we wore. It was mostly eyeliner and some black or brown shadow to smoke it out. I wish we'd have had this !! I was into Metal, Goth and then Grunge happened and I got into that.
I think to be really grunge, the pallet should be a dustier vibe with less pinks and purples. Just my opinion. I think it’s pretty though.
I would totally want to see you make more looks with this palette!

@@KendallAlfredyay! Can’t wait to see those glittery shades on you. Nice choice of outfit for this palette too! We all wore chokers and band tees! I was a teen in the 90s and I’m so gonna get this palette. Few of the shade names aren’t vibing w/ that era but all of the shades are gorgeous!
I've been doing grunge eye makeup since the late 90's, glad I'll finally be hip again. The original soft grunge I've always done has no light colors incorporated in the look. It's a medium to deep greybrown all over the lid and crease, then a blackened brown all through the lashline and smudged upwards. On the bottom its just the medium grey brown smudged pretty low. No falsies, just mascara. If it creases thru the day, even better!
I have no idea what "pretty grunge" is, but I'm here for all types of grunge ❤
Don’t care name palette vs the color story. Love the color story!!💜I think calling Pretty is the modern take on grunge. I think we all can interpret meaning for what looks and works best on each of us personally.🤗💜🌈💜
