My Brompton has shifting issues. The part you are assembling at 2:07 runs super stiff on my Brompton. Moving the derailleur does move the cable normally and smoothly. I can't understand what you say in the video but is the part at 2:07 supposed to run smoothly? Because now it seems to prevent the derailleur shifting at all.
@@cgpg6370 Thanks! Managed to get my shifter fixed under warranty. Before that I did try some lube for it but didn't solve the issue. Sanding would have done the trick I suppose indeed. Good solution and thanks for pointing it out!

At 1:58, use sand paper to make the surface smooth and oil it. Hope it helps
