I have both. Bought the big one and it was little too big so I got the smaller one and it’s perfect on my boat. The drawer is a game changer for lunch meat , cheese, etc etc that you don’t want water logged.
Awesome video. Watching from California. I had just heard of this cooler this morning and was looking up reviews. Yours just pushed me over the edge, I'm buying one of these today.
Never drain your water, it takes longer to heat or cool water than it does air, but that also means it will stay colder longer. An empty fridge or freezer runs more often than a full one
Would like to see a follow up with the Yeti cooler. Some testing of the beverages too would be good. Also curious how cold the beverage in the drawer is compared to those in the main compartment. Great video!
The problem with all these expensive ice chests is that when camping with lots of beer is that it gets opens 10-30 times a day, so buy cheep and save money for more beer
You are correct. I have 5 yetis and if the doors open all day the ice is gonna melt alot faster. However you can throw em in the shade and open them 4-5 times a day and you will still 3-4 days of ice and 2 days of pretty cold water
I bought a 7 day Coleman for $70. Years ago. It’s worked great I hauled my food 10 hours in back truck 95 degrees in July. Ice didn’t even melt. I think yeti would be nice but my 7 day works very well
@@TheAverageKitchen Yes, I remember you telling me so. Yesterday was the last day of this year's Oktoberfest. Who knows, perhaps sometime in the future you'll come visit again and you take your families to the "Wies'n" (as we call it in Bavarian). However, it seems you guys have stored enough beer to celebrate your own Oktoberfest.... 😊 perhaps air fry some Bavarian goodies to go with it... Wouldn't that be a great video for next year? In case you needed ideas what and how to prepare it I'm happy to help. 🍺🥨🍺
Love the dry area!! Wheels is a must on the big one! I have a Pelican 45 Quart with the wheels. Keeps ice for 7 days, for real! (use it camping). The thing is a tank! Put wheels on the big Ninja and you have a winner for sure!!
Hi, Jamie & Marc! I would love to see you compare the Yeti to the Ninja Vault cooler! I love my Yeti tumbler! Keeps my coffee hot all morning! Then after I wash the coffee out, keeps my water freezing cold until morning! Even if I leave it in my car overnight! I'm originally from New Jersey. But I now live in Florida. Our night time temperatures do not go below 75°F/24°C. So, I was thinking about getting my husband a Yeti for when he goes fishing with his friends. Then I saw the Ninja! I was hoping & praying you would do a video on the Ninja! I'm very impressed! Yes, please, do a comparison video! I was wondering how cold was the can in the drawer? Was it drinkably cold? I like to drink my pop very COLD!!! (Especially root beer!)😊 Thank you so much for all you do!!! (God, I miss hockey!!! Only my Canadian friends understand that!) Nancy
Thanks Nancy for all the ongoing support! We'll see what we can do for the comparison! And yes, the can in the drawer was definitely cold enough to drink. Not as cold as being in the ice obviously, but cold enough! - J
They say not to drain the water until necessary. It acts as a insulator as well. Plus water stays cold couple days when the ices gone. Plenty cold enougn for drinks
Although we don't need them here in the UK as we just put ours outside the back door along with the wine as obviously we don't have the temperatures that you have and thank goodness people here would never stop complaining but a very good watch and interesting Nether the less 🍻🙏
Hi Guys! Thanks for the great review! I held off buying this cooler. I wanted to wait until you guys put out the review video. So for now still using my Yeti. Cheers from St. Joseph Island in Northern Ontario. 🇨🇦 Any of you been there? It's my favorite summer spot. Great fishing!
