The Chief of Asebu giving that land in addition to apologizing for his tribe's role in skavery is really wonderful. I have so much respect for him and his people. I hope and pray they are blessed for generations for what they've done.
Hello brotha Ekow! I was wondering if you can do a video on 5 businesses you suggest the diaspora to start there. It would be good that the locals and the diaspora work together in bringing ideas in for the better of the town so all Asebu prospers together. A piece of the pie for all.
Please, is it possible to encourage more people to find ways to incorporate more trees on their property to lessen the heat. HOPEFULLY the diaspora will do more businesses for example dry cleaners, hardware stores, convientent stores, supermarket, building materials in one place, private bus service to cut pollution, the need seem to be there a few elderly people appeared to be coming. Wonderful idea from the gentleman, most people from America like to volunteer and feel useful, so helping in schools should be possible.
Thanks sis Mavis, u always come up with the best ideas. Everything u listed is definitely needed...especially for building a new development..everything is needed. From fruits to nuts, everything that can provide convenience, and accessibility.
Wow this video has made me feel so welcomed there. I really would like to help out at the schools with teaching writing and counseling students to help meet their socio-emotional and academic needs. 😊😊
All the schools are lacking every single thing u listed. No school has ever had student counseling. It will be very fresh and beneficial to the students in the whole country actually. Teachers desperately needed. Real professional teachers. This is a virgin village that needs development on all areas, so all skills are welcome, except people should realize that, the pay will not be the best, not like u would make in the western world or anywhere near what u would make in the states, so please, prepare and be adviced...I also believe that, anyone who's part of the team to start a new development, is going to benefit exponentially, and this will be a win-win for everyone in the end! Come along, brothers and sisters, this is a blank canvas, let's paint together, to make it the way we want it to be. Look at it this way, in the end, all will belong to us, our own development, and not building for someone else, and never own or enjoy a piece of the pie, just work for them our whole lives and own nothing for ourselves, or pass on to our children, ever! Welcome home!
Thanks for Economic independence and mindsets transformation. Building our nation's economy lagged behind fifty eight years can be changed within ten years only. All important factors of Economic production for massive wealthy accumulation are at our disposal. Hosea 4:6 . Land, machinery, skills and labor.
Thank you Ekow. Initially I thought a person had to travel to Accra to get items for a newly built home but I saw one UA-camr shopping for her house but not sure if they were actually shopping in Asebu. Maybe you can show a video about shopping in Asebu for furniture, appliances, solar, etc.
Mema wo Akye #Ekow and diaspora.

If you planning to settle in Asebu, here is a business opportunity for you. Great Video, Ekow.
I love your videos and efforts to help and facilitate the integration of the diaspora to Ghana. I would like to get the free land in Asebu and be a part of this great development! I will be there soon.
Is the rainy season in full effect, and is it better to wait til later in the year to visit?
Great video. I like this brotha and what he is saying about integration of the diaspora. Ekow you have great plans. Please remember safeguarding of children before sending anyone into the schools

Hello my brother, thanks for your content. I'm currently in Ghana & leaving on 6/7/23. Would like to meet w/ you if possible. Have some ideas that may help...not sure the best way to link up w/ you.
Bro. Ekow what is the distance from Accra to where you are? would love to visit, when in Ghana.
Is about 55 to 60 miles to Accra.

I like that this man is thinking about intergration of cultures, but that must go both ways. One thing that concerns me about Ghanaians is I feel they insist that Black Americans abandon their cultures. I'm fiercely proud of my people, our foods, traditions, spirituality all of these matter immensely to me. I don't want a naming ceremony, I don't need to be adopted by a tribe. That's my concern @EkowSimpson.
Hello Ekow, please tell the chief of Asebu to stop giving free lands to foreigners( African Americans) whiles the locals are buying the lands..some of these traditional rulers are part of the problem of Ghana..Why are u giving foreigners m( African Americans) free lands whiles your own people( the locals) cannot even afford the lands in your community..now let it make sense..This Asebu Chief I think is not well educated..
