I have my DNA done and my ANCESTORS came from malta and I'm really thinking about moving there it's beautiful Peaceful And better food.
University of malta is
10800 euros for non _EU and mcast 5400 euros for non EU..... May be I'm wrong..
Just a helpful addition: I see many comments on the 30k travel or medical insurance, as an insurance advisor myself this simply means the insurance company will cover anything up to 30k euros , you might be paying only 50-200k naira or maybe a little more to avail of this cover , so do not allow the 30k cost scare you off , that’s nothing

The insurance should cover medical expenses worth minimum of 30k USD for a period of 90 days...but the rule changed that the insurance should cover for a period of 180 days.
The #36k (subject to change due to the inflation in Nigeria) student worldwide policy of axa mansard will cover a minimum of 60k USD medical expenses and some other stuffs worth about a total of 110k USD. Thay is sufficient. But you have to call AXA mansard to customize the insurance to a 180 days own.... it should cost less that 50k naira

It's just a document you can from your country for less than $50 depending on your country. The $30k is just the worth of the insurance when you get to the desired country

Travel insurance of 30,000 euros? Thats alot. Even Germany kraaa block account is how much. This information on travel insurance has derailed the low tuition u mentioned. Just 15 hours? Everywhere is 20hrs per week. Not cool. Malta is out of my list

Hello, The travel insurance does not cost that amount. The 30k Euro is Usually the amount covered by the insurance company. If you are purchasing from Nigeria depending on the period of cover it usually costs less than 20k Naira.

Education might be cheaper than the UK but living costs, taxes, accomodation and basic food and necessities are definitely not cheaper.

Transportation is free here for everyone, water and light bill is less than €50 monthly, the quality of life is way better...any money you make here, be rest assured is going towards your rent and personal needs.
And grocery here monthly is less than €150 for my spouse and I...and it's going to spill over into the other month
That’s utterly ridiculous! One loaf of bread is 1 Euro, 1 carton of milk is 1 Euro. If you live on just those it is already €60 per month. Fine public transport is free but either does not show up, is full up or is late. So not reliable for work or if you have an appointment or school. Renting a place, even in somewhere like qawra/bugibba area is at the minimum €350 per month. If you’re living in 3 rooms and sharing with 8 others (like most foreigners do) then it might work for you. Are you not paying internet? Mobile contracts? Leisure? Air condition in this heatwave? You might survive with €150 but it is out of touch with the true reality.
Ahaha...Are you proud of what you just wrote?...think about it critically from a financial stand point of a student or a new resident and see which is better of the two countries. Do you even know how much groceries are in the UK?

Doctor good evening sir. I did study visa interview since 22nd of April and I am supposed to travel on 25th of May 2024 as my induction is on 27th of May 2024. I went through the school of Malta and saw the school fees for non EU country to be €13000+. That seems similar to the UK and the likes.
I know you mentioned payment by semester but that wasn't captioned on the school website.
Can you pls be kind enough to show how their payment is made. Is it like the UK where you pay deposit and then balance up.

I have gone to the school site too and i have started the registration. Just keep your 95 Euros (non refundable) for application fee and its above $13,000 for non EU students / residence

This Travel Insurance got me confused. 30,000 Euros is a lot of Money. Also, you got to show proof of funds. It's confusing. How do you get that amount in insurance in Nigeria, you must be a millionaire.
Come on. The worth of the insurance just has to be 30,000€ . To buy insurance isn’t more than €50 or 40k Naira

This just means your medical insurance covers up to 30k but you only buy it for maybe 200-500 .

I contacted a recruitment company for work , the company said I have to be in Malta but that is that recruitment company . I recently found another one but said The CV submitted determines if we are eligible to work in Malta and if the job openings are still available otherwise other valid options would be suggested based on your CV and if the partnered companies want seekers from Nigeria

Sadly, I wouldn't recommend moving to Malta as an unskilled worker as Malta is a highly skilled hub.

Hmnnnn....yes you can, but one has to be careful of this route. There are several rules guiding travelling through school and one of it is that for you to get a residence permit, your course of study must be a MQF level 6 course minimum.
It's a long explanation but my advice is that enter through a Master’s program that's a level 7 course

Go for school... Work may be a bit daunting to get from Nigeria. However if you have experience in betting , software development , accounting, estate developer skills you stand a better chance but you have to make sure that the recruitment company you seek help from partner with hiring companies that recruit Nigerians and can provide valid work permits

Good evening Doctor. Please I applied for a study visa in malta through VFS lagos and I got a mali after 5days that my application has been processed and enroute Lagos without a visa interview from the embassy. Pls I am scared. Can visa be approved without interview????

Good morning sir. We are 2 going for the program. The other person had an interview with the embassy and got the mail that his application has been processed on the 4th of April 2024 while I submitted on the 27th of April and got my own mail on the 3rd of April. Before I got the processed mail, vfs notified me by 9:01 on 3rd April that my application was under review and I got another notification by 9:03 on that same 3rd that it has been approved. My fear is this, does it take just 2 minutes to make such a decision.
Another thing is this, a wicked agent in 2021 misrepresented me in canada application and I was given 5yrs ban without my knowledge,only for me to know this in 2023 when I got admission in canada. My fear is also if canada share immigration information with malta. Could it be possible that they saw it.
