Better than using a USB. cable instead?
What about the Elegia?
Currently using i15pro max, what would you recommend for the adapter for the DAC connection for best audio performance?
For the iPhone 15 Pro Max, we suggest using a Silver Dragon USB-C OTG to whatever input your DAC has. Most likely USB-C to USB-C OTG or USB-C TO USB-B OTG.

If I wanted to change the sound of my Focal, why did I even buy it instead of a different headphone? And if I did want to change the sound, EQ is free/cheap and actually works no cap. BUT I do like nice looking cables to go with my Focal, not the silly stiff ones that came with it.

@@daboi5779Cables made from different materials are absolutely noticeable. Premium copper vs cheap copper will sound about the same though. Same for any given material.
Reviews are not data. If somebody thinks it sounds better, it does because they've convinced themselves that it will to justify the outrageous price tag.
@@ozymandias7940 So you choose audio equipment based on measurements only? Tube amplifiers measure terribly but sound gorgeous if you like warm and musical presentations. At the end of the day your ear should be the only judge. Measurements are great tools but they are not the ends to a means.
Sound is really soft..
You should use better cables to hear it better.
The lucrative aftermarket audio cable business, is well known for making outrageously unrealistic claims, in order to sell their over priced products, they're a lot more interested in increasing their bank balances, than increasing the performance of your audio equipment!
Hog wash! People are so easily brainwashed, it's hilarious. $10 cable vs a $1,000 cable. It doesn't make a lick of difference. Save your money!
Here's a tip, if you want a warmer sound, put a jumper on! Has about the same effect as a $500+ cable!
superconductor is the best cable
Absolutely! When a cable costs much more than the headphone itself, you're assured it's the best. When the manufacturer says it adds "greater inner clarity" and other very tangible descriptions, and starts and ends its product description with "you must hear these cables", definitely buy it... you don't even need to buy the headphones to hear those cables... they're that good!
But Superconductor is not needed for Focals. The Abyss stuff benefit from the miracles it performs on its stock sound.
