@@Stan_01_01 I’ve shot an AR15 once and I’ve only held the F88, so I myself can’t say which one is better, however, I’ve spoken to a couple of cadets from Duntroon, and the majority of them preferred the m4 platform. I believe the SASR actually chooses this platform over the Lithgow rifle
Only ADF forces that should be providing "security" assistance to police is the Special Forces for Counter Terrorism duties as TAG-E & TAG-W already do. Standard ADF should only assist with disaster relief and not be doing such duties as shown in this video.....the second you place a war fighter in a law enforcement role the civilian population who they are supposed to protect become the enemy. If the state governments need more personnel for security operations than they should increase the numbers within the police or establish a state security force/militia that has a higher level of training than law enforcement, an alternative could be for the federal government to establish an organisation who's job is to provide security assistance to state law enforcement agencies when requested (something similar to the US National Guard).
You need to consider resources in the worst case scenario, hence infantry would be supporting SERT. I can also assure after this exercise that TAG-E was up there in the same location with QPS for a training exercise, and if they're called for they're undoubtedly taking over the operation from QPS SERT.
Logistical, supply and transport support? Or frontline and armed conflict /combat support? There's a HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE difference and the issue is carefully avoided and ignored as though its not a worthwhile consideration that needs discussing.
Australian soldiers didn't like the military police during world war 2, they could be a hindrance because of their ridiculous attitude, insignificant people.
The kits and rifles those police have are sooooo nice
I think it's SERT correct me if im wrong
@@bruhmoment-yt2zp you’re correct, but they might call it something else up there
@@sama5946 nah it's SERT in queensland
What’s cooking?
Why are you guys censoring comments, removing those critical of this direction?
Worst security fence ever...
Are the guys wielding AR platform firearms police? If so, they have way better gear than the army lol
AR isn't better then the military issued rifle for Australia
