Petworks Momoko CCS 23AN review and comparison 27cm Japanese Fashion doll

- Momoko is a doll I have always found charming to look at, but she can be difficult to find outside of Asia and she is also pretty expensive for her size. This doll sells in a similar price range to Integrity Toys dolls like Poppy Parker. So is she worth it? Well, with dolls that is all a matter of perspective and my perspective on this particular Momoko is yes, absolutely. That said, she does have some flaws and, honestly, the value for money is not great, so do feel free to disagree with me! I find her a doll who reallly speaks to me with an innocent charm, combined with the flair of Japanese fashions - Momoko often sports a look that reflects this style, like gothic lolita or, in this case, punk.
She is approximately 27cm or 11 inches tall, a little shorter than Barbie and significantly shorter than Fashion Royalty, but very close in size to R&D Susie, Takara Jenny, and several other Asian fashion dolls who she can easily share clothes with. She is fully jointed and can stand on her own. She poses really well.
Lots of great features but... she's pretty expensive.

She is super cute. Love her purple hair and eyes. I am still trying to figure out who I want to be my very first Momoko or Ruruko. The joints easily breaking kind of have me nervous to buy one.
I really like this particular release, her eyes and hair are gorgeous and I do really like what she's wearing. I had no idea about the weird ankle and wrist joints so thanks for the heads up on those.

Questions are great! When I get back to Australia I will be able to do you a video about the different types of Jenny doll body as there are quite a few. The standard Jenny only bends at shoulder and hip, but there is also a flexible no joint body that has internal bending through all the limbs and torso, as well as the super action body, which is quite similar to Momoko or Susie’s body, with full jointing.
