I agree totally with Guru Swaroopananda. I belong to sanatana dharma and believe in advaita siddhanta. I have been posing this question to many friends, who have been sai devotees, As a follower of bhagavad gita (God's own word) I believe in God coming back when the sins are unbearable. How did a God come in between and neither purification of 'paapa' nor any relief to suffering country under british rule. You have your beliefs and sanatana dharma never objects any body but don't humiliate Hindu dharma. "Sai baba is not a God he is a human being who probably had few better qualities than others and don't deteriorate 'Hindu' Dharma. These 'PeeTas' are not developed after Saibaba. these were given divine powers by Sri Adi shankaracharya and He clearly stated that these "PeeTas" are Hindi Dharma Savior Ashrams. 'Tasmath Sastram Pramanam" for any critical issues and Shastra never stated there will be an avatar called 'Sai Baba'....

today people are totally unaware of the "knowledge" given in Vedas and Upanishads , and in the blind race of "modernization" they have become so materialistic that they don't even understand the real fact about "God",
A person who can do some miracles become their "god" and .they(some people) even start worshiping a person who is able to do some miracles..

According to several verses of Valmiki's Ramayana, Ram, Lakshman and Sita consumed meat while in exile.
The 102nd Verse of the 52nd Chapter (Sarga) goes:
"तौ तत्र हत्वा चतुरः महा मृगान् |
वराहम् ऋश्यम् पृषतम् महा रुरुम् |
आदाय मेध्यम् त्वरितम् बुभुक्षितौ|
वासाय काले ययतुर् वनः पतिम् || २-५२-१०२"
or
"Tau tatra caturo mahāmṛgān varāham ṛ śyaṃ mahārurum z
Ādāya medhyaṃ tvaritaṃ bubhukṣitau vāsāya kāle yayaturvanasparitam"
Translation:
"Having
hunted there four deer, namely Varaaha, Rishya, Prisata; and Mahaaruru
(the four principal species of deer) and taking quickly the portions
that were pure, being hungry as they were, Rama and Lakshmana reached a
tree to take rest in the evening."
Later, Sita said to Ravana (disguised as a sage):
"Āgamiṣyati me bharta vanyamādāya puṣkalam z
Rurūṇ godhān varāhāñca hatvā ādāyāmiṣaṃ vahu zz
Sa tvaṃ nāma ca gotraṃ kulamācakṣava tatvataḥ z
Ekaśca daṇḍakāraṇye kimartha carasi dvija zz" (Araṇya/47/23-24)
Translation:
"My
husband Ram will come back soon with many kinds of wild fruits and
plentiful of meat by hunting ruru (a kind of deer), varaha (wild boar)
and godha (iguana). Now you please be kind and tell me your name, your
gotra (clan or lineage) to which you belong and what you are roaming in
this lonely forest for?" (tr. Ibid, p-323).
There are several other verses that suggest that Ram was not vegetarian.
Kirata avatar in Mahabharatha (made into the epic poem Kirātārjunīya) being a mountain hunter, does hunt and eat wild animals.
Kashmiri Pandits worship a variation
of Shiva known as Batuka (also known in some circles as Bhairava) - with
fish and meat. Since the whole Vamachara maarg of Tantra (the left hand
path of Tantra) is inclined towards the Five M's - Madya (wine), Mamsa
(meat), Matsya (fish), Mudra (cereal), and Maithuna (sexual
intercourse). Mudra usually means ritual gestures, but as part of the
five Ms it is parched cereal.
Kuljeet Chaudhary Look dear, I hail from the lineage of Bengali Shakta saint Sri Kamalakanta Bhattacharya, who was a Kulin Brahmin. Kulin Brahmins of Bengal and Sarasvat Brahmins of Kashmir are known for eating meat.
On 10th Nov this year, we Bengalis celebrated Kali Puja, which is conducted in our ancestral temple and here 51 goats & 10 buffaloes are sacrificed to Ma Dakshina Kali, the temple's primary presiding deity each year on Kali Puja.
Meat eating is not an issue, since vegetarianism is anyways a Jain influence that we East Indians scoff at.
So I really don't understand why are you quoting out of context by draging Lord Ram into this!
So what if he ate the flesh of deer, iguana and boar? These aren't forbidden. Beef is.
Moreover, any food, be it veg be it non-veg, is illegal unless offered first to deities. Also, food that is Rajasic and/or Tamasic is unfit to be eaten since one cannot offer anything that is not Satvic to the deities.
Regarding the charlatan called Sai, he fed his apparent devotees (read infidels) Tamasic meat, without its purification. Can you prove that Sai the ghost followed the rules of eating meat as prescribed by Kalika Purana and Yogini Tantra? This is yet another trait of a Musalmana, a minion of wicked Asura Mahamada. Fie upon him.
Also, what makes him unworshipable is that he is a Pishacha, an evil spirit that resides in its grave instead of passing to the next step of the transmigration of soul. Only those with Paishachic leanings acquired by consuming Tamasic food would worship that filthy Pishacha Sai instead of Adya Devi. I can tell that by virtue of my Smashana Sadhana.
Only by staying in company of Avadhuta Yogis doesn't make you one. Dump Sai into a filth-filled man hole and worship Adya Kali; for She can save you from Bhavasagaram, not a beef-eating infidel Pishacha.

***** No doubt one can worship ones Guru, but the Guru is a human afterall. That's the bitter truth.
Regarding Shastras, those are the documentation of theories devised by our sages, who were no fools. So you cannot condemn the following scriptural injunctions honestly without adding a single comma.
Sri Bamakhepa believed that one must practice a combination of Jnana, Bhakti, Samkhya and Karma Yogas; for following one of the four while rejecting other three causes one to descend into dry intellectualism. You are rejecting this and hence are reluctant to accept the facts.
Sai was a Musalmana, a minion of wicked Asura Mahamada. He died but his (evil) spirit 'talks through his grave'. How does that become possible unless the corpse inside the tomb is a Pishacha?
However, I agree upon one point; I am rigid.
After worshiping the daughter of Himalayas, I too have turned cold and stony; a stone that cannot be subjected to friction. Shastras are documented by sages, but they are the words of Adya Devi. I surrender to Her and accept every word of Hers as a command. If She has hinted regarding Pishachatva of Sai, then I accept it and won't tolerate a single comma added to Her command.

Sai baba is a great saint and he should be treated like a saint but not like a god.Why people are going blind behind sai baba .Whatever sankaracharya has said is true we should accept it.Why people are making mockery of sanatan dharma by altering the sacred mantras of vedas such as Gayatri mantra by adding the name of saint(Sai baba) with it.
Bcoz sai baba is God to those who believe him. Live and let live. Live in your believe and let live in their believe. If there is no evil acts or if everything going good by following their own way as Baba is their god, they accept it, because he is ultimate truth to them and they are satisfied with him so he is God to them. Sanathana Dharma is not ur private corporation. It is righteousness that they are following. Do good, see good and be good. Better and wise. Sairam.

Baba and his devotees never asked money from anyone. Those who go there may put in the charity box. Your way of looking towards them is full of jeolosy and greedness. May people stop come to shop in your shop which affects your business. Siridi sai worshipper are worshipping shiva mahadev too as he is only avataar of shivaji, that is what sai devotees beliefs and people are getting benefit from the way they follow. Your conservative thoughts are spoiling people's beliefs, it shows you are killing people's beliefs, may be you were brain washed by your so called dharma protection mission.
You are still unaware of "Dharma is not to hurt anyone including beliefs" but you are destroying optimistic beliefs of other. May shiva sai forgive you for your innocent acts.

Is this the cult. and essence of your Dharma? The human frame being like you is having weapon in your mind and heart to hurt other's beliefs. But sai and his devotees respect all. Whereas you wearing sadhus santhas dress and painting your forhead with chanda and other worldly colour acting as dharma protector is not enough unless you have heart with human feelings. Do not teach your private dharma. You should know God is not your private. God can take any form within a second to demolish the evil spirited who goes against other hunan beings. सत्य तो यह है कि मौला साई के 99 % भक्तों को साई के जीवन के बारे में कुछ मालूम ही नहीं है साई बाबा उर्फ़ चाँद मियां के सम्बन्ध में सबसे प्रामाणिक पुस्तक है '''' साई सत चरित्र "" यह पुस्तक बाबा के भक्तों के लिए पवित्र कुरान के सामान है जिसे बाबा के शिष्य जी आर दाभोलकर ने बाबा से अनुमति लेने के बाद लिखी थी ।
बाबा से अनुमति के लेने का बाद वो 1910 से 1918 तक मस्जिद में होने वाली प्रमुख घटनाओं को संकलित करते रहे और बाद में सर्वप्रथम मराठी में लिखी गई ।
यही वो पुस्तक है जिसके बल पर चाँद मियां को महिमा मंडित किया गया है ।
नीचे पुस्तक के उन अंशों का उल्लेख किया गया है जो साबित करते हैं कि साई बाबा कट्टर मुसलमान थे ।
इस लेख का मूल उद्देश्य सत्य को प्रकट करना है।
1. साई उर्फ़ चाँद मियां सारा जीवन मस्जिद में रहे ।
2. साई कोई व्रत उपवास नहीं रखते रखते थे और भक्तों को भी नहीं रखने देते थे ।
3. साई उर्फ़ चाँद मियां की जबान पर हमेशा " अल्लाह मालिक " रहता था ।
4. साई उर्फ़ चाँद मियां रोज कुरान सुनते थे जो उन्हें अब्दुल सुनाता था ।
5. साई उर्फ़ चाँद मियां खाने के पूर्व अल फातिहा जरूर पड़ते थे ।
6. साई उर्फ़ चाँद मियां मटन बिरयानी खुद बनाते थे खाते थे और भक्तों को भी खिलाते थे ।
7. साई उर्फ़ चाँद मियां ने गंगा जल ये कह कर छूने से मना कर कर दिया था कि वो यवन हैं ।
8. साई उर्फ़ चाँद मियां निगुरे थे और उन्होंने अपने चेले दास गनु को खुद बताया था कि उन्होंने कभी विधिवत गुरु दीक्षा नहीं ली ।
9. साई उर्फ़ चाँद मियां का एक ब्राह्मण भक्त जब उनके पैर पड़ रहा था तो उन्होंने उसे टोकते हुए कहा कि मेरे पैर मत छुओ तुम एक उच्च कुल के ब्राह्मण हो और मैं एक निम्न कुल का यवन हूँ ।
10. साई उर्फ़ चाँद मियां की जो ओरिजिनल फोटो उपलब्ध है उसमे उनकी दाढ़ी ट्रिम की हुई है जो सिर्फ मुस्लिम फ़क़ीर रखते
हैं । वो मुस्लिम कफनी पहनते थे ।
11. साई उर्फ़ चाँद मियां ने अपने ब्राह्मण भक्त दादा केलकर को जबरदस्ती मटन बिरयानी खिलाई ।
12. महाराष्ट्र मे शिरडी साई मन्दिर मे गायी जाने वाली आरती का अंश-
“ गोपीचंदा मंदा त्वांची उदरिले ! मोमीन वंशी जन्मुनी लोका तारिले ! ” उपरोक्त आरती में
“ मोमीन ” अर्थात् मुसलमान शब्द स्पष्ट आया है ।

हम न मौला साई विरोधी हैं न सांप्रदायिक हैं लेकिन हमारा प्रयास है कि चाँद मियां को जान बूझकर हिन्दू न साबित किया जाए ।
पिछले पचास साल में जैसा अधर्म शिरडी ट्रस्ट ने किया वैसा इतिहास में कभी नहीं हुआ ।
जो साई जीवन भर मस्जिद में रहा उसे मंदिर में बैठा दिया गया , जो साई उपवास के विरोधी थे , उनके नाम से साई व्रत कथा छप रही हैं ।
जो साई हमेशा " अल्लाह मालिक " बोलते थे उनके साथ " राम " को जोड़ दिया ।
जो साई रोज कुरान और " अल फातिया " पड़ते थे उनके मंत्र बनाये जा रहे हैं ।
जो साई मांसाहारी थे उन्हें हिन्दू अवतार बनाया जा रहा है ।
जिस साई ने गंगा जल छूने से इंकार कर दिया उसके नाम से यज्ञ किये जा रहे हैं ।
जो खुद निगुरा ( बिना गुरु का ) था , उसे सदगुरु बनाया जा रहा
है ।
अगर हिन्दू अभी भी नहीं जागा तो हमारी आने वाली पीढ़ी का मुख्य भगवान एक ऐसा आदमी होगा जो हमेशा " अल्लाह मालिक " बोलता
था ।
माँसाहारी था और निगुरा था ।
हर हिन्दू से अनुरोध है कि हिन्दू धर्म की शुद्धि और पवित्रता के लिए इसे अधिक से अधिक साई भक्तो को अवगत कराएं

Sai baba is sant. It’s his teachings that we need to apply in our life. He never said to create temple for him..it’s people faith on him. God is one. It’s true. Please read the laws of spirit book.. this man is not realised person. His concern is real I agree. I am ram bhakt I am Sai bhakt.. both can be possible. This is something that is hard to understand for everyone. Only those people who don’t truly understand and read book Sai Satcharit in which reading Gita is appreciated. I am sanatani.. sai has been my guru.. people like you who are not realised should do more meditation and worship ram. In reality you are dividing sir. Jai shri ram.

If he is able to quote literatures that are base of Hinduism than why people call him idiot. What is so idiotic about this. Argument will be called idiotic if there is no logic and there is no reference.
And to those who are asking who is this Shankaracharya should go to Wikipedia and look at the history of Shankaracharya. They are supposed to know and understand Vedic literature. In past Shankaracharya played major role in stoping hindus converting to budhism and he brought Hindus back to our religion.
It is job of Shankaracharya to talk about Hinduism based on literature.
Whether you accept his argument or not is your choice. Why so much of abuse.
