I'm pretty familiar with Hornsby as it's only a few kilometres away. There's a variety of shops there. DJ's store has diminished in size, and of course Grace Brothers has disappeared. That still leaves Woolworths and Coles as well as Target and KMart, a string of smaller shops and the cinema. Myer has been replaced by Harvey Norman. After long years of trouble, the fountain in the Mall has worked well for many years now. A feature has been a farmer's market early on Thursday mornings.
