DJI Mini 3 Pro Color Profile - 10 bit D-Cinelike vs 8 bit Normal

The Mini 3 and Mini 3 Pro have an 8 bit color profile named Normal. It is a pre-processed color mode ready to use that doesn’t need intensive color grading. Does it record in real 10 bit or 8 bit smoothing and with metadata faking?

It’s actual 10 bit. But it’s not real log. CINE-D is more like a really flat picture profile

In the first iteration D Cinelike was a 8-bits mode.
I was then upgraded to 10-bits via firmware update

what better for battery safety (while flying) mp4 or mov?
what better for decoding on PC (editors, players)?

Hi Dan,
theri is hardly any difference between mp4 or mov, both can be used.
Traditionally mp4 is for windows and move for mac.
For deconingI use Premiere Pro which has an encoder named Media encoder. Most other video editor do a good encoding job
